Valmont has successfully got a potion from Shendu that could persuade Jackie into getting all of the Talismans from Section 13. Its function is to turn living things into stone. While it has a quick effect on flies and other living things, it takes 12 hours to fully infect humans. Valmont has not needed to worry about this as Jackie would have plenty of time to think about the offer; the talismans from Section 13 for the cure for the infection. He has a plot to meet him in Mount Rushmore with the bait needed.
Now, before leaving his hideout to enact his plan, he decided to do one thing: fight against 3 Shadowkhan that are standing before him.
He makes a fighting stance as he carried his cane with him. The Shadowkhan on his left started to make a punch, but Valmont blocks it. And another punch went by so it's blocked again. He makes his move by kicking him by his feet and slamming him down to the ground. Next, he makes a backhand punch on the and hits his head with the head of his cane. Lastly, the Shadowkhan from behind attempts to make an attack on his position, but Valmont block it with his cane so he grabs him and tosses him to the ground. The sparring match is over and Valmont triumphs.
"That's a very good demonstration you showed, Valmont," Shendu, a demon sorcerer trapped as a statue, complimented.
"It goes to show you I can handle things on my own, Shendu," the crime boss replied back with a smug look on his face. "I'm going to handle Chan by myself if you don't mind."
"No, I don't mind. Go ahead. Let's see if you can beat Chan with your so-called skills."
"Oh, I'm going to. I'll send him the message. The message of why he should give the talismans to the Dark Hand."
Valmont then leaves his hideout as his helicopter is headed for Mount Rushmore.
