Second Chances
Chapter 1: Death
Miroku, Sango, and Shippo watched in pure horror as Kagome stood up against Inu Yasha's youkai form.
" Kagome! No! You'll be killed!"
Ignoring their cries, tears flowed down her cheeks as Inu Yasha brought up his sword to pierce through her.
" Inu Yasha, leave them alone!"
" Kagome!"
The youkai snarled and growled, as blood thirst eyes flashed with death.
Tears rained down her and salted her lips, as the sword was brought down, slashing her, as she fell down in a bloody mess.
Sango screamed and tried to run to Kagome, but Miroku held her back, then holding her tightly in his arms.
Blood seeped in his fingers, as the now full youkai turned to slay the other three.
The three standing in horror as he advanced, Shippo and Miroku made an attempt to stop him.
" Inu Yasha! It's us! I can't believe you...INU YASHA!!"
The sword raising up, he prepared the stay the rest, when a small hand grabbed his wrist. Looking down, he watched Kagome's bloody state peering up lovingly at him, as she whispered her last words, one last try to save those she loved before she went lifeless...
" Inu Yasha...I love you. Sit."
