I Wish I Was Like Her

When she went towards the gateway,
Already greeting friends on a pathway.
But I, As cold as ice,
Never to be nice.

I wished for kindness,
I wished for no sadness.
But sadly,
Those wishes do not come true.

I wondered how she was so natural,
So normal as each person.
But I was not the one included,
For I was the one who merely watched.

One told me to be myself,
One told me to be that better person.
It's hard to balance her opinion,
And my friend's as well.

I wish I was like her,
Making friends here and there.
She has no enemies,
But I have had twenty.

It's just the state of my mind,
But it's nothing in there I could find.
I wish I could be a someone,
Not nothing as like me.
