Smile! That's what I tell everypony! Being sad isn't good, you know. Mommy always told me that when I was a little filly.
My mommy always sung this song to me whenever I cried. And I cried a lot.
She told me that everything will be alright, even though daddy was gone for a whole week already.
"He is on vacation, and will come back soon" She always said, and she almost cried then. I told her the same thing: "Daddy will come back soon, won't he? You shouldn't cry mommy."
"Y-Yes. Everything's fine."
Even one year after, daddy was still on vacation. But just as he wanted to come back this Monday, mommy said he has to do something first. I really wondered, because mommy said he would be back.
Ten years have passed, and daddy still isn't back home mommy told me by a letter.
I was a little sad, because I moved a year ago and started living on my own in Ponyville and had to leave mommy alone. She told me daddy comes back soon, and she would be fine.
The letter also said, she will go far away, where Daddy went as well and that she'll be back. I shouldn't think about it, she said. I shouldn't write back, she told me.
I was really confused, because mommy normally wants me to write from time to time. Daddy taught me how to write when I was a very small filly. It was hard, but I made it.
Even though, Daddy never wrote back to me. I wrote him about 50 letters, but he never replied to me.
But it's fine, I'm gonna smile, until the day Mommy and daddy come back. And then we will all have a big party and this will be great.
