This lone wolf can't sleep, and yet she dreams
I can't stop dreaming of that earthstar warrior
Flaxen hair concealing the depth of his sapphire eyes
Eyes like the night sea, the clear water stream
Wise, patient, noble eyes that continue for eternity
Just to remember, to picture, to describe, I lose myself in their depth
The earth obeys him, he obeys it
The earth fears him, loves him, and he returns the feelings
They share beat for beat, breath for breath, thought for thought
They are one with each other, completely
It's the way I feel for the moon, his moon, my moon
And truth be told, I wish to feel the same way for him, him for me
The strength of the bear runs through his body and soul
The nobility of the wolf guides this awesome power
The hearts of both beat strong within him
Earth, bear, wolf
Does he have room for another?
For my wolf-heart, perhaps?
One name binds this together
A name that sends my heart flying, soaring on dragon wings
A name sacred to the Horse People, to my Birth-People- the Two-Leggeds, to the very earth itself
