Nihongo Lesson (Japense Lesson)
Taberuzô! Nomuzô "I'm gonna eat! I'm gonna drink!" Nothing like expressing enthusiasm when you're starved or thirsty!
o-shô-yu Okay, so you just said, "sauce," but it means Worchester sauce.
shio salt
koshô pepper
satô sugar
okawari! "Seconds please!" Can't fight on an empty stomach. Make sure yours is full!
gochisô sama The polite thing to say at the end of a meal: "I have had a feast, thank you."
gohan kudasai Rice, the national stable of Japan. Ask for it by name. "May I have a bowl of rice please?"
waribashi / ohashi Waribashi are chopsticks you typically get at restaurants, the balsa-wood ones that snap irregularly in half. "Ohashi" (or just plain "hashi") is the term for any chopsticks. Having only one is considered an Asian diet plan.
X kudasai Now how to ask for them. Replace "X" with any of these items and add "kudashi" and you'll get it!
Example: Satô Kudashi means Sugar Please
Ittai nan nanda, kono mushi wa!!! You use this line sooner or later: "There's a bug in my soup!!!" Eitehr because there is a bug, or because you put it there to avoid paying the bill.
