A/N: This is a carry on from a video I made two years ago. The video is much better but my friend convinced me to write an actual fan fiction to it.
A/N2: Okay information to know, Mulder didn't get abducted at the end of requiem, Scully already knows the doctor (reason why he used the name). I think that's it… O! all mistakes are mine. Please review, and if you find mistakes just let me know.
Mulder stood next his partners bed. He knew how sick she had been lately. Scully was becoming distracted and continued to faint at peculiar times. Mulder and Skinner had discussed what could be wrong with Scully while slept peacefully in the hospital bed. They just didn't know. As the door opened Mulder moved even closer to Scully so he could slip his hand into hers without too much effort. Skinner moved so the Doctor could talk to Scully. The look on his face had them all confused. Was it joy and bemusement? Mulder was about to yell and scream at him for finding joy in Scully's pain but the doctor spoke.
"Ms. Dana you have one healthy little baby on the way."
Mulder just stared at the Doctor waiting for the punch line but when it didn't come he shifted his gaze onto his partner. Scully's head was still, never quite quavering, but her eyes moved just in the slightest. Mulder's breathe caught in his throat as he saw Scully's eyes began to sparkle as they did once before many years ago. At that moment in time he knew she would be okay. He would never leave their miracle or her alone. They would be a family.
