Lament For The Faithful

Here upon my throne I sit,

King of the White City,

Hear this lament I emit,

For all those that I pity,

Those that cannot see the light,

That now does flood this world,

The pureness and the beauty,

That goodness has now unfurled.

Those we are indebted to,

For they helped in the fight,

Those whose hearts were great and true,

Who died for what was right.

We owe to them our world today,

And all of our lives,

Their spirits will not go away,

Their memory survives.

Let us send our gratefulness,

To all those that died,

And I know that they will sense it,

For in my heart they reside.
