Sometimes, they talk about the future and what it holds for them. They talk about future professions, cars and kids. And one of the things he can remember the most is Serena saying she wants to be a lifeguard.

"A lifeguard?" Dan asks, smiling. He can't help it, the thought of his girlfriend in a bathing suit was more than enough to keep him happy.

"Why not? I just have to learn CPR." She replies airily, just waiting for his reaction.

"I know CPR." He grins, fingers curling around her waist to pull her closer. "I can teach you if you want."

"Somehow I doubt we'll be doing too much learning." She giggles, bringing her lips to his.

"Not my fault you're irresistible." He murmurs, kissing her again and again.

"I'm never going to learn anything, am I?"

"Depends on what you call learning." His head dips down, kissing her again. "See, this, right here, is learning too."

"Learning what exactly?" She questions, a twinkle in her eye.

He chuckles as his lips make their way down to her neck. "You're learning that I'm a good kisser."

"How is that helping me with the lifeguard thing?"

"Fine," he sighs, laying down. "I'll teach you." Taking her hands, he positions her just so. "First, you pinch my nose. And then give me two deep breaths."

She takes a hold of his nose before leaning down, blowing air into his lungs. First one breath. Then two. She pulls away, smiling at him.

"Okay, now press down on my chest ten times and then give me two breaths again."

She giggles, pressing down on his chest repetitively before leaning down and capturing his lips once more.

He reaches up, tangling his hands in her hair, and pulls her down onto him. He kisses her harder, unwilling to let go. Finally, when the need for air becomes too much, he grins and pulls away. "See, told you I could teach you."

"Great, I can go be a lifeguard now." She grins, cheeks flushed from the intensity of his kisses.

"Guess I should go drown more often." He winks, before bringing their lips together again.
