Chapter One
You couldn't tell by looking at him, but Johnny Storm was an omega. He passed himself off as a beta by using heat suppressants. He had started taking them after he was attacked as a teenager, bonded, and bred. The Alpha was put in jail, the half bond was broken, and Johnny put the baby up for adoption. It had been 10 years and somehow Johnny still kept up the beta charade. Johnny was terrified of Alphas and flat out refused to be alone with one, unless it was Ben or Reed. Then Shield decided the four had to have a liaison. The liaison they picked just happened to be an Alpha female, which was just as rare as Johnny being an Omega Male. To make matters worse she had to have private meetings with each of them on a weekly basis.
"Sue I can't do this, I can't work with her, much less be alone with her." Johnny whined.
"Look I know it's hard for you to be around Alphas, but she is a professional and she doesn't even know that you're an Omega. Besides there are cameras in the room." Sue assured him. When it was Johnny's turn he was pretty nervous, he had almost cried the night before. The Agent's name was Calista Coulson, she was kind, intelligent, and incredibly muscular. If she hadn't been an Alpha, Johnny might have actually been attracted to her. Calista was all business, and by the end of the meeting Johnny was nearly asleep. He was thankful when her cell phone buzzed and she told him that she had to leave.
"Sorry Mr. Storm, but I must leave a little early. It was nice meeting you." She told him as she gathered up her things.
"It was nice meeting you too, I'll see you next week." As the weeks went on Johnny stopped dreading the meetings and actually enjoyed getting to know Calista, or Cal as she prefered to be called. Cal was a sweetheart, a vegetarian, and an amature magician. It was their third meeting when Johnny noticed that something was off. Cal looked uncomfortable, and almost in pain. She also smelled incredibly, her usual musk was ten times stronger and almost intoxicating. Her rut was starting, Johnny was torn. His mind was telling him to run, while his body was telling him to let her breed him. She was in the middle of telling him about the new suits shield was working on when she stopped and started to pant.
"Cal? Are you ok?"
"Yeah… sorry… I just… I think I'm starting my rut… excuse me." She said and left the room. It was then that Johnny realized he was sitting in a puddle of slick and heat was pooling in his lower abdomen.
"No." Johnny said under his breath before fleeing to the safety of his room. Halfway there he ran into Cal. He was inches away from her and she had a hold of his wrists.
"Johnny?... 'mega?" She slurs groggily. Johnny's heart starts to pound and his fight or flight instinct kicks in. Johny pushes her off of him and into the wall, hard. There is a thud, but all Johnny can hear is the blood pounding in his ears. Johnny locks himself in his room and cries in pain and fear until Sue knocks on the door several hours later. After some coercing, he let's her in. She brings Reed in to check on him.
"Johnny, I don't know why your suppressants stopped working, but I'll start you on new ones after this heat is over."
"You can't start me on new ones now? I can't go through heat, I haven't gone through one since I was thirteen." Johnny complained,
"I can't start you on new supprests in the middle of a heat, it could make you very ill." Reed told him. Reed left and Sue tries to comfort her brother.
"Do you want me to get you anything? Something to eat? A drink? An… um… aid?" She asked, blushing a little.
"No thanks, I just want to be left alone." He groaned.
"Ok, I'll check on you later." She brushed his sweaty hair off of his forehead and left the room.
