"Get up Dennia! it's almost time to go!" Amaimon yelled at me through the door.

"I'm coming," I said. my voice taking on a rather bored tone. "Five minutes tops."

"Ugh, fine," he said rather dramaticly. Pacing the hallway of my palace, that was conveniently located in the middle of the white woods that made up my domain.

I was in my room, at said location, brushing out my long, white hair so that it fell smoothly to my knees, and around my large horns of the same color. I had always liked my horns. they ware similar to a rams in the way that they curled atop my head. As for my skin, it too was pale in color, so my hair, horns, tail, and skin are basicly all white. the only exeption being my bright, red, eyes. i stood up from my desk to look into the full legnth mirror that hung on my wall, only to be greeted with my small (but very top heavy) frame, only amounting to five foot one in height. Even Amaimon is taller then me!

Later this evening, my brothers and I were meeting at Iblis' house, located in the heart of his domain, to celebrate the awakening of our youngest brother Rin's powers. Fixing a final stray hair, I put on a low cut black tank top, and black leggings paired with a black waist cape and leater vest. I then sealed my spear-like weapon into the tattoo on my arm, and headed out of my room to Iblis' domain.

"Dennia!" Iblis greeted me from outside the doors of his mansion where he was standing with a few of our brothers including Beelzebub, the King of Insects, also known as Bee, Egyn, the King of Water, and Azazel, the king of spirits.

"Hey Iblis," I said in greeting, "How ya doing?" I asked a slight smirk on my face. I never really show emotion. Though, I'm not as extreme as Amaimon.

"Fantastic!" he said, the corners of his mouth pulled up in a grin, "But that's probably just because of the occasion."

"I wouldn't doubt it knowing you and your bitchy moods."

He glared at me.

"So..." I said, "Do you know when Astaroth will be back with Rin? If he succeeds in his task, that is."

"Any minute now," said Bee, deciding to join the conversation. "If he succeeds and Father decides not to punish him."

"That's a shame," I said my voice devoid of all emotion except a sadistic and patronizing tone. "I rather enjoy his screams."

Just then, a butler came up to me and said, "My Lady, you have been requested in the throne room of his majesties palace."

"Very well," I said, my voice a mask of apathy. "Goodbye Iblis, I have a feeling that I won't be seeing you for a while. You guys too." I glanced toward the rest of my brothers.

"Sayonara, my lovely lady," said Bee, winking in my direction and blowing me a kiss. All of us had this kind of relationship. The kind of one where we could sit in each others laps, start making out, and no one really gave a damn. None of us thought it was wrong either. We were demons after all. We lived for sin. I walked towards him, standing on my tip toes to kiss him. He bit my lip, asking for enterence, which I playfully denied, pulling away.

"I guess the rest of that will have to wait until I get back." I said, and walked toward the butler who then escorted me to my Father's palace.

The sound of a few short rasping knocks on the vast, elegant, dark wood door echoed throughout the halls of Satan's palace.

"Enter," came a deep but light voice from the other side of the double doors.

The doors slowly opened toward the inside of the room, revealing the king of Gehenna seated upon his throne, crowned with the very blue flames that lit up the streets of Gehenna at night.

"Father," I said respectfully, bowing before the ruler of all demons. "You sent for me?"

"Rise," he said.

I stood up and looked him in the eye.

"I sent for you," he said glancing in the direction of Astaroth's domain. "Because I want you to do what your older brother could not."

"He failed?" I said apathetically, raising an eyebrow.

"You don't look so surprised."

"Can't say that I am."

"Watch your mouth."

I dipped my head, "Yes Sir."

"Now," he started, "Your assignment is to bring Rin back to Gehenna no matter the cost. Even if it risks your discovery to the knights of the true cross. However, Rin is currently attending True cross academy, so it will prove difficult unless you just make yourself invisible and hide your aura. You should be able. You are the demon queen of power after all."

"Understood," I said. "Do you mid filling me in on what has happened previously so I know what I'm dealing with?"

He went on to explain how Astaroth had gotten Rin to reveal his flames and was about to drag him back to Gehenna until that bothersome Paladin showed up. He then said that Astaroth attacked the monestary where they were 'protecting' him, only to be exorcised yet again. Satan then stepped in when he saw an opportunity to claim the body of the late paladin, but in doing so, he kind of freaked out a little since he can't maintain what little sanity he has in Assiah, and ended up killing the priest. Rin then destroyed the Gehenna gate and enrolled in True Cross Academy.

"Well then," I said it looks like I'll be paying a visit to our dearest Samael."

"Indeed it does," he said.

I pulled out a dagger I had hidden beneath my waist cape and slit my wrist, creating a Gehenna gate.

"Well Father," I said, " I bid you adieu. Please say goodbye to the others for me. It might take a while for me to get this done."

"Very well," he said, "As long as you complete the task it doesn't matter how lengthy it ends up being."

With this, I stepped into the Gehenna gate, and began my journey to True Cross Academy.

The feeling of going through Gehenna gate is like having all the joy and hope sucked out of your soul, infinite and lonely darkness surrounding you. Then, as if it was all a dream, I stepped out of the gate into Assiah, and found myself in front of Samael's little exorcist school. Well, not exactly little. The entire thing is so big that it could pass for a city! Although, it had nothing on the capital of Gehenna. I eventually stopped staring at it and walked towards the city only to be stopped by the sorry excuse for a magical barrier my brother had put up. I sighed. I guess I'll be polite then. I knocked on the invisible wall that made up the barrier and said, "Samael, a little hospitality here," and as if on cue, a puff of pink smoke gathered on the other side of the barrier and quickly dispersed, revealing my clown of a brother.

"Why hello my dearest Denstrice!" He said, "To what to I owe the pleasure?"

I growled. He knew I never liked to be called by my given name. No one remembered me by it anymore, and those who did shuddered in fear just by hearing it. "You know I don't like to be called that in public, Samael." I said, knowing he didn't like to be called by his either. Probably because he worked with a bunch of self-righteous do-gooder exorcists.

He glared at me. "And you know I don't like to be called by mine either. So it's only fair if I return the favor."

"I suppose you already know why I'm here," I said, raising an eyebrow, my voice a bored monotone.

"And why would you think that?" He grinned, leaning down towards my face. Jerk. Showing off his height.

I glared.

"Point taken."

"Would you just let me through already?" I asked, slightly annoyed. "I'm kind of in a hurry here."

"Don't be," he said, leaning down to kiss me. His lips were soft as they met mine. I felt his tongue press against my bottom lip, asking for entrance. I shoved him away.

"Now let me in," I said, my red eyes gleaming.

"On one condition," he said.

"And what might that be?"

"That you become a student here, and join the exorcist cram school."

I stared at him, shocked. Me? A student? Absolutely not.

"It might help you get closer to Rin..." he said trailing off towards the end.

"I would have already brought him back to Gehenna if you had never made him join the cram school in the first place."

"Ah," he replied, "But I did didn't I? So I guess it's my way or the highway."

"Fine," I said, "But don't expect me to be a pawn in your games. I will do what I want, regardless of what you say. Though, if what you have planned seems interesting enough, I might just take part in it."

"Then it's settled!" He said, "Dennia, welcome to True Cross Academy!"

"Yeah. Sure. Whatever."

"Pessimist," he said.

"I prefer the term realist, clown boy,"

"I am not a clown! It's not my fault no one else has any sense of fashion! And I'm older than you, so I'm a man! Not a boy!"

"Whatever you say," I said, "Clown man."

"This is gonna be a long year isn't it?" He sighed.

"It was your idea."

"Hmph!" He turned and marched towards the center of Academy Town, me trailing behind him.

He was right. This mission would take a lot longer than expected.

I woke up to my alarm clock going off noisily on my nightstand. That's right, I was supposed to go meet him at 9:00. I glanced over at my clock, it's currently 8:30 so I have thirty-ish minutes to get ready seeing that I could just teleport myself to his office. I got up out of bed to take a shower, grabbing one of the girls uniforms Samael had given me yesterday when he took me to where I would be staying for my time here, also known as the old girls dorm. I took a quick shower, not wanting to waste any time, and used magic to dry my hair. I thought back to the first time I had used it in front of my brothers and smiled at the fond memory.

-flashback-

"Nii-San!" I yelled running up to Azazel, "Look what I can do!"

I held out my tiny fist and opened it, revealing a small butterfly that had not been there before.

Azazel stared in shock. He quickly picked me up and quickly walked towards Father's throne room.

"Nii-San," I said curiously, "Where are we going? Why are we heading towards Father's room?"

"Just wait Denstrice," he said, "Okay?"

"Ok!" I said, smiling.

We arrived at the double doors to the throne room. Azazel set me down so he could knock.

"Enter," said the cold voice of my Father. I shivered. He could be really scary sometimes.

Azazel took my hand and the doors opened, revealing my Father and my brothers Lucifer, Beelzebub, Egyn, And Iblis in the middle of a meeting.

We bowed.

"Azazel," my Father said, "Do I have to punish you for interrupting my meeting?"

Azazel bit his lip, "I apologize Father," he said, "But I think I have something you might like to see. Or rather, Denstrice does."

"Well?" Said Satan, looking to me now.

Azazel stood up, bringing me to my feet along side him. He turned to face me and cupped my cheek. "Can you show him what you showed me?"

"O-okay," I said nervously. He gave me an encouraging smile.

I slowly walked towards Father, stopping in front of him.He raised an eyebrow. I held out my small fist and opened it up, revealing a dark red colored butterfly. His eyes widened along with the rest of my brothers, who had been watching the whole thing silently.

"How?" Said Iblis, completely shocked. "She's only four! And I thought Amaimon was the one with the earth powers!"

"Indeed," said Satan. "But this isn't an earth power. This is magic, and a very advanced form of it I'd guess, since, like you said, she is only four and yet she is able to create an artificial life."

"So does this mean she's stronger than us?"

"Yes," said Father, still turned towards me. "Egyn," he said, "Gather your brothers. Including Samael."

"May I ask why Father?"

"Because she has shown her power, and just as tradition calls, we must crown a new King, or a Queen in this instance."

Soon enough, everyone was gathered and I stood before Father. Paicently waiting for my new title, as he begun to speak the ancient words.

"By the power of the blue flame, I give you the strength, wisdom, and leadership to rule. I, Satan, God of Gehenna, give you the title of demon queen. You shall have the domains of power and chaos, as I can see none more fitting." He gave me a proud smile. "Do you Denstrice, promise to uphold the laws of this land and govern your kingdom with liberty and justice?"

"I do."

"Then I pronounce you an official member of the Gehennan hierarchy, ninth among the Baal. All hail the demon queen of power and chaos."

~~~ * ~~~
I was knocked out of my thoughts when I dropped the hair brush I was using and it fell to the floor with a loud clatter. I was almost done anyway. I quickly got dressed, wrapping my tail around my waist and hiding it under my shirt. I then proceeded to take on my more human-like form. My horns melted back into my skull, my ears shortened, my claw-like nails taking on a more rounded shape, and my canines shrinking to just above average size. The only remaining trace of my demonic heritage being my bright red eyes, which still became duller than usual. I put my pajamas in my small dresser right next to my previous outfit, and teleported in front of my brother's office. I gave the door two sharp knocks.
"Come in," he said from the other side of the door. I entered wearily, glancing around the room to make sure we were alone.
"I may like my games Dennia," he said, "But I would never turn you in to the Vatican. You are my sister after all."
"Fine," I said, "What do you need to talk to me about?"
"Just to get some things in your story straight."
"Go on."
"Well," he said, "For starters, you are an orphan that never knew your parents, you live alone, and have been taking care of yourself since you were small. You grew up in a shady neighborhood with a lot of gang activity, thus you had to learn to defend yourself at a young age, explaining your skill in combat."
"I got it so far," I said.
"Good," he continued, "You are attending True Cross on a scholarship with aspirations to be an exorcist, and rid the world of the creatures that you have been able to see since you were small."
"That seems good enough."
"Now onto the fine details, I have chosen the last name Iki for you since it sounds Japanese, but you are welcome to change it if you would like."
"Nah," I said, "Iki is fine. Kind of cute actually."
"Okay then," he said, "Here is the key you will need to access the cram school. I trust you know how it works since you helped me develop them all those years ago."
"Of course," I said.
He nodded. "Cram school starts at two, so you have some free time. I'd suggest you use it to obtain so casual clothing."
"Like you're one to talk," I said, "Besides, I have that covered."
"Well I guess that's it," he said. "Goodbye Dennia."
"Bye." I said, and walked out the door to waste some time.
~~~ * ~~~

I flopped down on my bed, exhausted from messing with people's heads all day. It normally didn't make me this tired, so it was probably just the stress of my mission and going back to school, mixed in with my anxiety about seeing my little brother again.

-Another Flashback-

I slowly made my way through a window in the monastery, making sure to be quiet, but not bothering to hide my demonic features. The room I entered belonged to my little brother, Rin. We didn't talk about Yukio. He had already been persuaded to join the exorcists, and wanted nothing to do with his Gehennan heritage. Rin on the other hand, was still open to suggestions. I turned away from the window I had just come through and turned to face Rin. He looked so peaceful when he was asleep. Like he didn't have a care in the world. I bent down to pet his blue-black hair, planting a gentle kill on his cheek. All of a sudden, I heard a whisper coming from the other side of the room. Yukio was awake. And he had spotted me.

"Dad," he called, quietly at first. "DAD!" He yelled, and less than a second later, the Paladin appeared in the doorway, a canister of triple-sea-density holy water in hand. I knew why he was capable of, and did not want a fight at the moment, so I climbed back out of the same window I came through, and disappeared into the night.

-End Flashback-

I only had about five minutes before class was supposed to start, so I reluctantly got up and stretched. I picked up the messenger style bag that Samael had provided, which to my surprise was actually a bottomless pit bag with my white flames embroidered onto the front flap. It already had everything I needed in it, and all I had to do was reach in and think of the item I wanted and it would appear in my hand. The only catch was that the item had to be deposited in the bag first. I quickly put my shoes on and walked to my door, inserting my magic key into the door. I opened it quickly, and walked into the room of people training to kill my kind.
