Helloooooooo my friends! I know I should be working on Transformers Prime Rewritten, but this idea was swimming around in my head and it refused to leave until I wrote it down. Also this will not feature Venom, but my own symbiotic duo, Troy Winter and Chaos.
Warning! This story will contain strong language and intense violence. Reader discretion is advised.
Disclaimer: I do not own anything related to Fallout or Venom, only my OCs.
Enjoy!
The Commonwealth has entered a new chapter. With the combined efforts of the Minutemen, led by the Sole Survivor, Rex Anderson, and the Brotherhood of Steel, the two factions were able to destroy the Institute, the sinister organization that has been terrorizing the Commonwealth for decades. But even with the Institute gone, the Minutemen's mission to make the Commonwealth a safe place is far from over. Raiders, Gunners, and Super Mutants still run amok. However, everything changes when something arrives in the Commonwealth. Something horrifying. Something…
Off worldly.
Federal Ration Stockpile
Two weeks after the Institute's destruction
Night had fallen over the Commonwealth, the moonlight shined down upon the wasteland. At an old pre war federal ration stockpile, a rather large group of raiders patrolled the area, alert for any potential trouble. The Minutemen had become a bigger deal since they were revived a little over a year ago, becoming more persistent in their mission to help the innocent. Adding to that, ever since the Minutemen and the Brotherhood of Steel had destroyed the Institute, synths of the organization had been running around the Commonwealth aimlessly, sometimes gathering in large numbers to attack Minutemen settlements and raider outposts alike. Because of this, the leaders of raider groups have taken the precaution of adding more numbers to their ranks. But unfortunately for this particular raider group, the Minutemen and synths would be the least of their worries, as a beast unlike anything the Commonwealth has ever seen stalks them from within the trees, cloaked by the darkness of night.
The beast stood eight feet tall with a hulking, muscular frame, jet black oily skin coursing with golden veins. Knifelike claws ready to rip and tear their way into flesh with sharpness that rivals a Deathclaw. Ominous spikes of various lengths protruded out of its back, adding more intimidation to its already fear inducing appearance. Three horns rested on its head, two of them being long and slightly curved, with the third being short, stubby and positioned in front of the other two. Two jagged pseudo eyes sat above a maw filled with terrifyingly razor sharp teeth, with a long serpentine tongue hidden behind. The creature's maw stretched into a wide bone chilling grin as it took in the forms of the unsuspecting raiders, then it moved in.
Felix HATED watch duty more than anything, especially around this time of year. Winter was close to arriving, and the nights were getting considerably colder. He would very much rather be getting drunk in the compound then freezing his ass off. But Red Tourette was very clear about him taking watch, unless he wanted a third eye in the forehead. Tourette had been considerably more violent ever since her sister, Lily, was kidnapped by Tower Tom and his boys at the Beantown Brewery a few weeks ago. She would often lash out and randomly shoot at something, and one would have to be lucky enough not to be nearby when that happens.
His thoughts were halted when he heard rustling come from within the trees. Without hesitation, Felix grabbed his pipe rifle and scanned the tree line. After fifteen seconds, he saw nothing and relaxed. "Gotta lay off the jet." He muttered to himself as he sat down…
And a black tendril with a blade at the end darted out from nowhere and pierced the man in the left side of the head, causing that side to explode in crimson red. Felix stood still for a few seconds, then fell to the floor of the shack, blood pouring out of his head. The beast hissed at the corpse. Even though it was just one kill, the monster deemed no more sneaking around. It was time to make its presence known. Well, almost.
Meanwhile, the rest of the raiders carried on with their business, completely unaware that one of their own had just been killed, and unaware that they will be joining him.
"You!" A raider yelled, pointing to another. "You're up for watch! So go get Felix!"
"Why me?" The second raider complained.
"Because Tourette-" The first raider didn't get to finish when the sentry turret they have suddenly exploded, causing it to smoke and sparks to fly.
"What the fuck?!" A third raider exclaimed in alarm, grabbing his combat shotgun.
With raised eyebrows, the first raider approached the destroyed machinery, and, to his surprise, found a sharp, black claw lodged in the turret. But before he could pull it out, multiple tendrils shot of from the shadows and yanked him. The sound of a blood curdling scream ripped into the air, followed by a sickening crunch, then total silence.
Everyone had grabbed their weapons and aimed them in all directions, fear flowing through them as they searched for the intruder. "W- Whose there?!" The second raider yelled out. No response.
"Stop hiding like a coward and come out and fight!" A fourth raider shouted.
Again, silence, until… "With pleasure." A deep, dark, and demonic voice sounded, sending shivers down everyone's spine.
Something large landed on one of the shack roofs, and everyone's eyes widened in pure terror when they saw their stalker. "WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT THING?!" A fifth raider screamed at the top of his lungs before firing, as did everyone else.
The beast unleashed a thundering roar before jumping down on two raiders, instantly crushing them under its weight. The creature dashed left with impressive speed before lunging for another raider and fiercely backhanded him, and the force of the blow sent the raider crashing into a nearby wall, dying instantly upon impact.
The beast sent multiple bladed tendrils out and they sought their victims. The tendrils pierced into their targets, causing those impaled to violently cough up blood. The tendrils then viciously removed themselves, leaving gaping holes with blood pouring out from those who struck.
The bladed tendrils hastily retracted back into the beast as it zig zagged around, avoiding the bullets coming its way, not that bullets could harm it. It stopped and sent out non bladed tendrils and they latched onto the guns of serval raiders, yanking them away, only to send the weapons flying back at their owners, hitting them painfully in the face.
The beast jumped down in front of two raiders, grabbed them, and leapt back into the air with a spin before tossing them into one of the shacks, causing it to collapse. When it landed, the creature released a menacing roar before raising its clawed hands, and they both morphed into large scythe like blades. The beast then swung the massive blades, cleaving anyone caught in their path in half, causing blood and inners to splatter everywhere. The beast snarled as it retracted its weapons before continuing on with the horror show.
More raiders came storming out of the bunker to assist their friends, but their efforts were all in vein. "What the fuck is going on out here?!" Red Tourette demanded hostilely. But then she saw the monstrous beast and wasted no time in shooting at it. But she met her end when her head was torn off her body in a quick and merciless bite. The other raiders stared in horror at the sight of their now headless leader. The beast raised a clawed hand and fired the claws of said hand, and new claws immediately replaced them. The lethal projectiles pierced into the heads of several raiders, causing them to explode in crimson.
"Mother fucker!" One raider made the foolish choice of charging toward the beast, machete raised into the air. The creature simply responded by spreading its claws, and they extended, making an ominous sharpening sound as they did so. In a swift and fluid motion, the creature slashed its claws at the charging raider, utterly disemboweling him. The claws reverted back to their normal length before the monster jumped around, planning its next rather soon course of action.
The nightmarish beast jumped and delivered a devastating punch to a raider, sending him crashing into a couple of others. Three bladed tendrils sprouted out and stabbed a raider in the chest, stomach, and face. The tendrils pulled out of the raider and retracted back into the creature. "Son of a bitch!" Another roared as the last of the raiders poured their bullets into the beast. It climbed onto of the shacks and ripped off a piece of it, before throwing it at the group. The raiders scattered to avoid being hit, but some weren't so lucky. The creature jumped down on top of a raider before grabbing him by the leg. The beast then brutally slammed the scumbag repeatedly into the ground before flinging him at others before finally letting go.
There was just one raider left. He was lying on ground on his back, crawling backwards as he emptied his gun's magazine into the beast, while said beast slowly but surely made its way over. The sound of clicking signaled the raider that his weapon was dry, much to his despair. With a grin, the beast grabbed the man by the throat and hoisted him into the air. The raider's blood went colder then ice when he stared into the white eyes of the beast, and its teeth were stained in blood.
"Brain, heart, liver. Such a delicious feast, no time to waste." The beast rumbled hungrily with a guttural growl before its long serpentine tongue slithered out of its maw and licked the raider's face, leaving a trail of saliva in its wake, disgusting the man beyond his worst discomforts.
"Pl- pl- please! Mercy!" The raider begged for dear life.
The beast titled its head in confusion. "Why do you beg mercy, when you raiders don't ever show it yourselves? You don't care about the lives of innocent people, people who are trying to survive in this world, so why should we care about your life?"
"What the fuck are you?" The raider demanded, wheezing the words out against the beast's iron like grip.
Half of the creatures face opened, revealing a very human face underneath. "We… are Chaos." Both sides said before fully reforming into the grinning visage. Chaos opened his maw impossibly wide before bringing the raider closer.
"NO! NO! NO! NO!" The man screamed before his head was torn off.
Chaos tossed the headless body aside like it was trash before spitting out the head. Seeing no one else standing, Chaos looked up to the heavens and unleashed a thundering, triumphant roar, his serpentine tongue dangling wildly.
Once the echo of his roar quieted down, Chaos's flesh began to recede until a man stood in his place. Said man was in his mid twenties, wearing a green suit and leather pants, combat boots, and pieces of armor there and there. He had raven black hair, blue eyes and handsome features.
"Well, now with that done, let's loot the place." The man declared before walking into the compound.
"Why are we looting the place, Troy?" Chaos inquired from within the man's head.
"Because having a little extra supplies never hurts. I swear, I have to explain this to you every time before we storm a joint." Troy Winter said.
"Because we like making you repeat yourself." Chaos teased.
Troy rolled his eyes as he opened the door leading into the bunker. "You're lucky I can put up with your loud and obnoxious behavior." The host grumbled, earning a chuckle from the symbiote. But Troy was grateful to have Chaos in his life, even if it means having to share his body with an alien. Because it allowed him to survive better then... well, pretty much everyone.
When Troy walked in, his eyes instantly landed upon a hoard of supplies. "Huh, seeing all this crap makes you wonder how many innocent people these bastards raided." He sneered in disgust as tendrils sprouted out of him and grabbed the supplies the host deemed necessary. Once they were done looting the place, Troy walked back outside, ignoring the mutilated and disemboweled bodies around him.
"Are we going to Sanctuary?" Chaos asked.
"Not just yet, we're gonna head back Diamond City for a while. We can't just waltz up to the second most fortified Minutemen settlement. Those guys may be noble, but they aren't stupid enough just to let someone have free passage in, I hope." Troy explained.
The host was indeed eager to meet the ones who had destroyed the feared Institute, especially the one that leads them, Rex Anderson. A few days ago, Troy and Chaos were in Diamond City, and the host stopped by a place called Publick Occurrences. There, the host had read an article authored by someone named Piper Wright, the topic of said article was about Rex. Apparently, the man was also known as the Sole Survivor, due to the fact that he was put in a vault and frozen the day the bombs dropped, making the man technically over two hundred years. Troy was fascinated by this. Someone who was around before the bombs dropped. The host had always wondered what the world looked like before it became the shit hole it is today.
"What about the Brotherhood of Steel?" Chaos inquired in concern.
This question caused Troy to stop in his tracks. He knew that the Brotherhood of Steel was here in the Commonwealth. The symbiotic duo had a rather unpleasant history with the organization, what, with their morals declaring that things like ghouls and super mutants being abominations that need to be put down, and Chaos was no exception when he first made himself known four years ago in Vegas. The duo had always tried to avoid conflict with the Brotherhood whenever they could, but there have been times when they had no choice but to defend themselves, and those encounters had always ended in bloodshed, thus increasing the hostility between the two parties.
"We'll worry about them when the time comes, since I know for sure we haven't been taken off their hit list. Take us home." With that said, black flesh slithered out of Troy until Chaos had fully taken over. The symbiote then dashed off and disappeared into the darkness of night, leaving the carnage behind for anyone unfortunate enough to stumble upon it.
So, what do you think? I would really like to continue this story. Until next time, have an awesome day!
