"We have gathered here today to determine if our people are allowed continued interaction with their respective nations," the usually loud and cheerful America proclaimed solemnly.

This was August 23, 1947, at a conference hall in an unknown state and city in America. The Operation Amnesia Conference had begun.

America continued on, "The repercussions of the war have been massive, and all of our people are blaming us for all of them."

Upon hearing this, Germany, Italy, and Japan lowered their heads in great shame.

"I have a proposal, I say that we move on from that painful time, and the humans will never remember that we exist, except for our bosses. This plan will be called "Operation Amnesia" We will work in secret, and never directly interact with our people again. To those who were neutral through the war, would you still like to be blamed the next time something bad happens to your nation?" An uneasy silence answered his question.

Suddenly, England stood up from his seat, holding up a small vial filled with a dark purple liquid. "I have helped America with his plan, and if the majority of us agree to our plan, each of you will be distributed a vial of this substance. I used magic to add memory-wiping properties to it, and when you get it, find a piece of untouched land. Pour the substance unto it, and the humans will have never seen you in about two hours."

By now, the atmosphere in the room was one of shocked silence, as the other nations contemplated this radical proposal. After what felt like a decade of quiet to America, a lone figure rose from the table.

" A-already my people h-have lost faith in me…" Germany quietly growled, "A-and I want my people to be p-proud to be Germans, not ashamed and feared….Perhaps it is better they do not know me anymore…."

Japan and Italy stood up to console him, while the rest of the nations stood up and mutely nodded in agreement. The conference was over. The humans would never see their nations again.
