Hephaistion and Alexander were sitting underneath a beautiful tree, near their favorite lake. Alexander's Phai looked up at him from where he placed his head upon his chest.
"You know, I really love you Xander.." said Hephaistion with complete confidence.
Alexander looked down into those gorgeous pools of ocean blue that were his lover's eyes, and did not respond. Alexander couldn't respond because if he told his Phai that he loved him, it would be the whole truth, no doubt, but he couldn't muster the words because he currently had been bedding Bagoas.
