The First Date

Summary: It's Saturday and Simon and Hayley are getting ready for their
first date but will it go as smoothly as planned?
"Simon Camden get up now," shouted Annie from downstairs. Simon sat up and looks at his clock and realised that it was 9am and he had to help his dad with the church in half an hour. He got up and went to the bathroom to find Ruthie already there.
"Ruthie hurry up" said Simon banging on the door
"Simon why didn't you set your alarm last night" asked Annie coming round the corner.
"Sorry mum I must have been really tried last night but if Ruthie hurries up then maybe I will get ready in time" said Simon
"Ruthie honey hurry up your brother needs to use the bathroom" said Annie knocking on the door softly but as she did that the door open and Ruthie came out
"Hey mum just brushing my teeth" said Ruthie then kissing her mum on the cheek before walking back into her room.
"I have one weird little sister" laughed Simon
"And I have one weird son" laughed Annie before walking back down stairs.
Simon stood there for a minute but then realising he had only 20 minutes left before his dad would be leaving.
"Are you going to kiss" shouted Hayley's little sister Brook jumping round the living room
"Mum tell her to go away I'm trying to watch TV" shouted Hayley
"Come on sweetheart let's go and make some cookies" reply Elizabeth picking up her daughter and leaving Hayley alone watching the TV
Hayley felt relax but nervous about the date with Simon. What were they going to do she thought? Were they just going to sit through a 2-hour movie without saying or doing anything? She felt more nervous again and try to focus on the TV but she couldn't.
"Hey sis have you seen my car keys" asked Ben searching the living room
"I thought I saw them in the kitchen" reply Hayley focusing on the TV
"No I already look there" reply Ben picking up magazines and throwing them back down again
"Well I don't know" said Hayley before getting up and running upstairs
"What's wrong with her" asked Ben to his mum who walked in
"She has a date tonight with Simon and I think she is just a little bit nervous that's all" reply Elizabeth
"My little sister has a date and your letting her go out" said Ben a bit shocked
"Ben she's 16 and it's only Simon" reply Elizabeth
"Yes but I know what 16 year old boys are like since I have been one" said Ben
"Simon is a nice boy and Hayley won't do anything stupid" reply Elizabeth turning of the TV
Ben stood there thinking for a minute and then came up with a idea which he knew Hayley and maybe Simon would hate but first he had to ask that somebody to be his partner in crime and that somebody would be Lucy.
