A/N: I did everything in my phone. And I put this fic up in my phone too.

Jack was walking through the cold streets of Snowpoint City. The lights were just turning. He decided to take a walk to clear his mind when he had a small argument with his mother.

"I should start getting home" he thought, he had wanted sometime for himeself and he found himself walking. As he was about to go turn something cought his eyes.

There.

A pokémon egg at the corner of the street. Jack's eyes widen in shock and he starts walking towards it. He always wanted to have a pokémon like everyone else but could never get one. He is really busy these days since his dad died.

He stood in front of it, and started to kneel to touch it. It was kind of cold and he knew it got to be in a warm place or else it will freeze and never hatch. He frowned.

"Who would leave a pokémon egg in the streets?" he whispered to himself angrily. He looks around to see if anyone was near by.

No one.

He picked up the egg and wrapped his arms around it. He felt a warm feeling in his chest.

"I'll take care of you" he said to the egg. A small smile slowly grew on his face as he started to walk home.
