Me: Ok!! This is just something that I wanted to write for a while now...Ever since I realized there were no fan fics (K-T) about Sync and Asch. So, here is the first chapter! *walks out of the room* Asch: Hey moron, you forgot the disclaimer. ...Nevermind, I'll just say it. The authoress of this story does not in any way own (except for a copy of the game) Tales of the Abyss. Otherwise, us God-Generals would have stayed alive.
It was around lunch time, I was in my room, lying on my bed. Van walked in with a small, green haired boy in tow.
"...Who's the kid?" I asked whilst sitting up.
"Asch, he's your responsibility now. Take care of him." Van said ignoring my question while walking out the door. Leaving me and the kid alone in my room. A long silence took over the space between us.
"What's your name?" I questioned the boy. No response. "Well?"
"...I don't have one..." he responded quietly.
"Why not? Did you lose your memory or something?"
"No...I never had a name." he mumbles,
"You're a replica, aren't you?" Again, no response, "Well, if you don't have a name, I'll have to give you a name... Hm....how about...Sync?" I suggested.
"..."
"Now that that's settled let's get you some clothes. The ones you're wearing aren't suitable for your training." I stated glancing at the tattered, brown, potato sack like dress he was wearing as I walked out the door. Sync followed silently.
__________
After going to get a uniform for him, I thought he might want to find a way to disguise his face.
"Hey Sync, try this on," I suggested
Sync picked up the mask that I pointed out. It was golden with a red design on it. He placed it on his face, I reached over to adjusted it so it wouldn't fall off his face when he moved. It looked good on him, I thought to myself. And it would keep him from being mistaken as the Fon Master. I noticed that that sort of thing really irked him.
Now, the only thing left to change is his hairstyle... It'll get in the way when he fights, I thought whilst glancing at his hair.
"C'mon, we're going back to my room." I said while paying for the mask.
"...Whatever." I heard Sync say as I walked out the door. I smirked, this is going to be interesting....
To be Continued...
Me: *returns* Omg! It's done! Although, I made them all OOC (By accident...), I think I did a pretty good job on this one... Oh and the reason why Asch is a bit more happy than he is in the game is because he hasn't realized that his replica is a wimp yet. But that will come eventually...
Asch: ...I'm stuck raising a green-haired midget? Me: Yup! I hope you have fun raising the little monster! I'm having a bunch of fun just writing about it!!! Sync: ...You. *points to the authoress*You have been kicked out of my fanclub. Me: What?!? But...why? Sync: For making Asch my legal guardian. Me: *ignoring Sync for now* Ok, Remember to review!! Otherwise, Sync'll bit your hand off. *leaves*
