Miller quickly walked through the casino making a beeline for the doors. He knew when to quit, the saint's boss had let him live but next time he probably would not be so lucky. He was never meant for this type of life. He was going to get on a plane go home. This was supposed to be a better life but all it was going to be was an early grave.
Killbane put his hand on the teen's slender shoulder a lot harder than needed, shocking Matt out of his thoughts and causing him to tremble. He cursed how stupid he was for thinking that Killbane would just let him walk out the door.
"Matty you're not leaving these" he squeezed Matts shoulder hard all his gold rings digging in painfully making the cyberpunk whimper a little " Hands of mine are not meant for keyboards not like yours" Killbane said rather calmly as he led the teen back towards the back rooms of his casino.
"I… but" Millers protests instantly stop as Killbanes hand moved from his shoulder to the back of his neck it took all of his will power to not start hyperventilating remembering Kikis death.
"Matty I'm not asking"
"Ok" Miller replied shakily.
Viola walked in to the room looking for the boss only to see Pierce and Oleg playing chess.
"Where's the boss?" she ask adjusting her sunglass while holding her phone in her other hand.
"He's with Kinzie … Hey you ok new girl?" Pierce asked noticing the concerned look Viola had. She sighed but before she could answer the door swung open. Boss walking in with his usual swagger all biker jacket and ripped jeans.
"Oleg go help Kinzie I have no idea what she wanted" Boss said with an exaggerated whine before flopping onto the sofa. Viola cleared her throat to get his attention.
"Before that there is something I need to discuss with you"
"K" Boss answered with a raised brow "What's up" he added when she did not go on.
"You want another ally" Viola asked as she handed the boss her phone. Boss took the phone a little confused. Looking down at it he read the two messages 'Help Viola please I tried to leave but Killbane won't let me. I just want out I am in way over my head' the second 'I know you have no reason to help, but I don't know who else to turn to please answer' he then looked at who the messages where from 'Matt Miller'
"So what's in this for me?" boss questioned Viola
"Your enemy not have tech capability and you then have two of the best hackers and Pissing off Killbane" She listed off every think matter of factly.
"Ok let's go save the kid… No one tell Kinzie"
