I smiles through the blood.

I laughed with the screams.

These puny people thought they could run! I waved to my friends, they were setting a man on fire. The sound of breaking glass rang out and made me look over.

Oh.

Susan just pushed a woman out of the second story window.

Boring.

A group of teenagers ran past me screaming. I watched as Joe chased them down the street and into the gunfire. That looked like fun for a brief moment. I stepped to the side as the man on fire rolled past. Why was he trying to put it out? Couldn't he see we were helping him? This made me frown in anger. These ungrateful people! We were helping them purge themselves of their sins! We were sending them to the devil faster so they don't continue suffering on earth! It was all in the name of the lord! They all deserved to go to hell but god chose my friends and I to help these people purge their sins so he could forgive them. The lord said to us

"Purge the sinners by fire and send the non-believers to Satan by swift justice"

I watched a whore be shot down. There was no swifter justice than a gun. I glanced at the woman Susan pushed out of the window. She must not have accepted the fire purging and so fell to hell. I sighed in remorse. One less person for gods' army. One more for the devil. For a brief moment I feared the devil would win this apocalypse. I watched as a handful of children were lit on fire and shook the thought away. God would win. God always won.

And my friend and I would help him to his victory, one purged soul at a time.
