I don't own Degrassi in any shape way or form other than having the DVDS. But if I did own it you never would have heard of a thing called Semma.

Holly J Sinclair was alone in her room not making any effort to fix her normally perfect her ginger hair which was in a mess across her tear-stained face. Her mother had just left the room after failing in a desperate attempt to bring her downstairs. But at that moment no matter how unrealistic it was Holly J had decided to never ever leave this room again. Really, what would be the point when you're broke and the whole universe hates you? It's not like she went anywhere these days anyway. Mainly just school and The Dot and those both sucked. School was pointless without Power Squad and The Dot just was just an all round bore. So many of her former friends hung around there and Spinner was easily the most annoying person ever when he wasn't even talking and that was very rare anyways, how can someone be so damn happy all the time?

Footsteps. Someone's coming.

Holly J whined and hid into her pillow. She didn't wanna see anyone right now.

"Heya J." A voice said.

Uh oh. Speak of the Spinner and he shall appear.

At the sound of the new nickname she immediately became annoyed and returned her full attention to him. Holly J turned around the face the young guy, who was still wearing his The Dot t-shirt and actually looked quite worried.

It's Holly J, Einstein and what the hell do you want anyway? Here to laugh at me and call me a loser? Cause Y'know that's really weak coming from a guy that's in his twenties an-

"J, could you shut it for five seconds?"

Holly J blinked a little, too surprised by his bluntness to respond.

"So why weren't you at work then?" He said as he gingerly sat on the edge of her bed.

"Not much of a point of going outside when the whole world hates you" she replied quietly.

"The whole world... yhea it kinda feels that way don't it?"

"It doesn't feel that way" She said bitterly "It is that way"

"That bad huh?" He said sympathetically.

"What would you know about it?"

"Ah, maybe a thing or too, there was this time when the whole school thought I was the worst person in the world"

Holly J had a hard time believing that. She didn't know Spinner all that well but he seemed to be one of those people you just liked, he seemed impossible to hate.

"What did you do?" She questioned, her curiosity getting the better off her.

"Oh, I got my best friend shot. Uh... the same best friend who's MP3 player I stole" He said his voice low and plagued with guilt he was trying to keep hidden.

"I'll eat my pompoms if that guy hasn't taken out a restraining order on you" Holly J said cooly.

Spinner gave a very weak and forced laugh before saying:

"So what did you do?"

"I, um broke up a niner and senior relationship" she mumbled sheepishly.

"Ya see what I'm saying here? If I got people to forgive me for that this whole thing will blow over in a day" He said cheerfully before getting of the bed and heading for her door.

"So I'll see ya at work tomorrow then?" He wanted to know

I don't have a shift tommrow...

"Yhea sure"

"Great" He said "Well see ya then"

He's leaving. A few final words were playing on Holly J's lips but she couldn't quite get them to come out. What was this? She never got shy! She was Holly friggin J!

"Spin?" She impulsively decided to say it anyway before he left.

"Yhea J?" He said turning around to face her.

"Just... promise not to be surprised if I just fall totally in love with you?"

"Very funny J" He laughed before turing around and leaving the room.

He thought she was kidding.
