On a beautiful Saturday morning, Lori was getting ready in her room as usual, when her mom, Rita, came in to tell her news. "Lori, I want to show you something, follow me." "Not right now mom." Lori snapped. "No seriously, Lori, please you are going to love it!" Rita replied. "Ugh, fine, whatever." said Lori. Rita took her grumpy teenager downstairs. Lori had no idea what was about to happen.
When they got downstairs, her dad, Lynn Sr., knew what was happening and of course started to smile uncontrollably. None of the kids knew what was going on, and started to think that their dad was going crazy. "Dad, what are you doing?" Lori asked in disgust. "Oh, nothing honey. I was just, um..., well... what's that!" Lynn Sr. shouted. "Uh, ok." Lori said. Lynn Sr. bolted to his room just after Lori had said that. "Don't pay any attention to him sweetie. He's just, well different." Rita said to Lori.
Just as Rita walked Lori to the front door she asked for her to put a blindfold over her eyes. "Why?" Lori asked. "Because I said so." Rita replied. "Ok." Lori finally agreed. Rita opened the front door slowly and cautiously. Then, she walked Lori out to the front by the big tree and driveway. She said, "Lori take the blindfold off." Lori took the blindfold off with trembling careful hands. The second she saw it, she was in shock, and she almost passed out. She couldn't believe what she saw.
There in the driveway was a shiny, new, fresh, parked car. It was a White and black 2010 Chevrolet Camaro. Lori screamed as loud as she could, and the rest of the kids came running out. "Woah." they all said. "I call sitting in it first!" screamed Luna. "What? No, I get to sit in it, I'm the beauty pagent queen." Lola responded. "No fair, what about me?" Lana asked. "I'm Lori's sister, what about me." Leni tried to say. "I can hide in the shadows of the car, you won't even know I'm there." Lucy said glumly. "You need to drive me to my sports games, I think I should be able to sit in it first!" Lynn screamed. "Hey, we can all role with it. Hahahahhahaaha." Luan acknowledged. "I'm the smart one. Step aside." Lisa smoothly said. "Me twooo." Lily agreed. "Ya, well I'm the only boy, so I should sit in it first." Lincoln said.
"ALL RIGHT, ALL RIGHT. JUST SHUT UP. NOW ALL OF YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO RIDE IN MY CAR, SO GO BACK INSIDE AND STOP FIGHTING!" Lori screamed as loud as she possibly could. "This is my car, not yours. So just, just leave me alone." Lori begged. "Ok, fine." they all said. The rest of the kids went back inside, leaving Lori alone with her new car. "Wait, but.." The kids came running out. "It's mine, not yours!" they all screamed. "Oh, no." Lori sighed. Here they go again.
