Summary: He who
remembers will never forget
He remembers days where he didn't see him at all. When he would just be there, but yet not. He remembers times when he ignored him, put him down, sometimes even forgot him for a while.
He remembers the mean things he said. The biting words and corrosive tone. He remembers the sarcasm and the hurt and the defensiveness.
He remembers the distance. He put it there. He remembers the coldness. He put that there, too. He remembers the loss of innocence. He took it away. He remembers the tears. Were they cried for him?
He remembers the strong chin raised in defiance, the blue eyes shaded with darkness, the full mouth bent in a frown. He remembers the chiseled chest and the long legs and the elegant fingers.
And now he remembers the white bandages and crimson blood. He remembers pained eyes and raspy words. He remembers Daniel, because that's all there is left to do.
