Loud footsteps echoed in the long, dim corridor. Although there was little light, a defined shadow dance across the walls as the pony travled deeper into the labyrinth, knowing the was like her own hoof. Her excitment crackled in the air, making her giggle as she picked up her pace.

She reached a large metal door. The pink earth pony pushed it open, her excitment fading when she realized she hadn't gotten a 'subject' this week. She scruched up her muzzle, mumbling to herself as she trotted upstairs and got ready for the day ahead.

Pinkie Pie bounded outside happily, keeping an eye out for any satisfying subjects. She had found herself at Twilight's tree house/library. She knocked. 'OH TWIIILIIIIIIGHT!' she called. The lavender unicorn, looking unkempt, as if she had just woken up.

'Oh, hi Pinkie. Do you need something.' Twilight yawned, yelping when she was almost bowled over when Pinkie bounded in. 'Nope! I was just walking and I found myself here. THEN I got a great idea for a party!' Pinkie smiled, knocking over the Trojan horse head on the table in the middle of the room. A purple glow appeared around both Twilight's horn and the figurine, placing back in it's spot.

I should really glue this to the table... She thought, counting how many times it had fallen. Pinkie was walking around the library, looking at various books. 'So! Will you come?' The earth pony asked, sitting down and looking at the lavender unicorn.

'To your party. Uh, sure! I could never pass up a Pinkie Pie party!' Twilight said cheerfully. 'AWESOME!' Pinkie cheered, bounding off to Sugarcube Corner and heading back downstairs and to the room to plan.
