AN: Hello everyone! It's snowy where I live and I got to see Disney's Frozen the other day. This is not a crossover, but simply a Niles and CC oneshot inspired by Do you wanna build a snowman. Speaking of the song, I don't own that. :P Enjoy!

While her apartment was under construction, CC was staying with the Sheffield family. She wasn't too happy with the situation, but how could she turn down Maxwell's offer? Maxwell decided that he would take the children and Nanny Fine of course, to Hawaii for a week to get away from the bitter cold of New York. She and Niles decided that they would stay in New York. CC stayed because she wanted some peace and quiet and Niles because he didn't think he could handle the work that came with every vacation.

It had been snowing all day, and Niles really wished that the children were there. He always loved going out and playing in the snow. If only he could get CC to go outside with him… Niles knew exactly how to get her to play.

He knocked on the guest room door.

"Babs?"

CC was in bed reading a good book; she wasn't in the mood to deal with Niles.

He didn't expect her to answer. So he started to sing a song that Miss Grace taught him.

"Do you wanna build a snowman?"

CC looked up from her book. He can't be serious.

"Come on let's go out and play".

When did Niles start acting like a five year old?

"I never see you anymore". You see me every day.

"Come out the door. It's like you've gone away". What the hell? Maxwell left, not me.

"We used to be best buddies and now we're not". CC decided it was time to speak up, "Niles we've never been buddies".

She didn't hear anything. Maybe he left? Well it's he left, I'm too old to go out and play in the snow.

He took a deep breath. He wasn't going to give up yet. "I wish you'd tell me why!".

CC opened the door. "Why what Niles?". Her voice was harsh, but that was nothing to Niles. Niles grabbed her by the shoulders and was surprised that she hadn't killed him yet.

"Do you wanna build a snowman?". She pulled herself out of his grasp and slammed the door in his face.

"It doesn't have to be a snowman". CC groaned in frustration. What isn't clear about no? "GO AWAY NILES".

He sighed and decided to let it go for the time being. "Okay bye".

Back in the kitchen, Niles sat at the table with the newspaper in hand, but it wasn't entertaining to him. It had been twenty minutes since she shot him down; it was time to try again.

He knocked even harder this time. "Do you wanna build a snowman?". Oh for the love of GOD not again!

"Or ride our bikes around the halls". "Niles that doesn't even make sense!".

"I think some company is overdue. I've started talking to the pictures on the walls!". CC shook her head. He's bothering me because he's lonely? CC knew that feeling all too well.

"It gets a little lonely, all these empty rooms, just watching the hours tick by".

CC again opened the door but this time she greeted him with a smile. The look on Niles' face was so hopeful that CC couldn't bear to upset him. "I wanna build a snowman".

Niles was so happy that he grabbed her waist and spun her around. "Why'd you change your mind?" he asked once he set her down. Once she was done laughing she said, "Don't question it Butler Boy. Now, race ya to the living room!".
