The tall silver-haired jounin stepped inside the academy.
"Iruka?" He glanced around, and heard a sobbing sound from the corner closet. His footsteps gently echoing around the large room, Kakashi made his way to the ornate wooden door. He turned the knob, and pulled the door aside. Inside sat a desheveled-looking Umino Iruka, covering his face, his hair down from it's ponytail... hanging around his shoulders in dark brown fringes. Kakashi leaned over, brushing his fingers throug the other man's hair.
"You'll be okay... Come on." Kakashi reached down, and pulled Iruka's hands from his tear-streaked cheeks.
"B-but... K-Kakashi..." The upset chuunin shook from grief. "Y-you... you already love... l-love... Kurenai!"
Kakashi looked shocked. "I do not love her. She belongs to Asuma, Iru-kun."
Iruka stiffened at the nickname. His tears slowly stopped, and he finally looked Kakashi full-on in the face.
"You cared enough to come and find me?" he wondered, gazing into the one eye that had not been tainted and covered.
The taller man chuckled throatally, and pulled Iruka to his feet. "Come with me."
