BLOOD

He was bleeding.

Crimson liquid slipping between his fingers, dropping on the stone floor, splashing in a big red pole. The gash in his stomach stung like a bitch, his entrails on the verge of spilling and fall outside of him, warm and oh so disgusting against his palms. He was trying hard not to throw up, all the blood with his coppery scent and the feeling of his organs in contact with the skin of his hands was making him sick. Nausea overtook him, making him lean against a stone wall, then sliding down against it, too weak from the blood-loss to really have the strength to stay firm and upright on his legs.

Darkness seeped in his visions, around the corners, taunting him and laughing of his weakness, daring him to let go and simply die.

He was so tired.

He was so cold.

He closed his eyes and let himself drown in crimson blood.

DEATH

He was in the King's Cross Station. Again.

He rose from his kneeling position and looked around, taking notice of the train platform and the stone pillars, and the white nothingness at the edge of his vision, shifting when he turned his head to create other things.

The pain had stopped, and he gratefully stretched, hearing his joints pop in the right places.

There was silence, sometimes interrupted by a...

Harry turned around, green eyes going wide. There, in front of him, was a baby.

Scratch that. Not a baby, but THE baby, the scaly and whimpering one he remembered from the Battle of Hogwarts, the one who represented...

Tom Riddle's Horcrux.

What was it doing there?

He carefully approached, looking at the grey scales and red eyes, full and shiny with tears. Following a sudden instinct, he picked it up, holding it close to his chest. The poor thing was cold, so cold... like death itself.

Taking a decision, he took the train for Elsewhere, just then appeared on the platform.

In his arms, a sleeping Horcrux, finally silent.
