Leonard McCoy sat in his apartment, awaiting news of his friends return when the phone rang. "Hello, Doctor, it pains me to say this, but… A tear trickled down Spock's face. Jim has died. Leonard felt a tear trickle down his cheek. Damnit, Jim! Why did ya' have to go die on me? He could tell the Vulcan was not in a condition to be working, yet there he was, calling as if it were just another day in the office. "Spock, go home." "But Doctor, I remind you that… "Go!" "As you wish, Leonard. Long life." "Live long." He hung up the phone.

the doctor curled up, a glass of Bourban in his outstretched hand. "Why Jim? We were about to live together, have a life together… Damn it all!" He shattered one of the glasses on his table, the shards cutting into his fingers. "Doctor, do you require aid," Spock asked, walking in to find the glass shards on the floor. No, I do not, mister Spock, I'm fine. "Doctor, you are not fine," the Vulcan said, grabbing a broom to sweep up the glass. After that, he sat by the doctor's side. "What's on your mind, Leonard?" "I never got to say goodbye to him." Nor did I, doctor." Without a word, he hurried into the kitchen to fix some tea for them both.

When he returned, the HV was on, playing a news segment on a man who had been for all intents and purposes, dead. None of them knew what he looked like really, it was kind of hard to tell. He didn't say anything of how he was brought back, just tried to play his resurrection off as if it were a stroke of good luck. The Vulcan watched as Leonard began to drink the tea before his muscles relaxed. Nothing like that will ever happen for us," he said wistfully. "What do you mean by that assumption, doctor," he asked. "Simple, Mister Spock, the chances of Jim coming back are at best, slim. Still he couldn't hope but wonder, if there was a person whom could bring back his fellow captain and friend, what would he do? What risk would he take? And if he did this, would it be a logical decision? "Screw Logic, Mister Spock! If you had the chance to see Jim again would you honestly take it?" There was only 1 answer for that. "I would, Leonard.

So what do you think? This one will be Bones and Spock based with Necrosabor coming in as the main resurrect of the bunch. Towards the end of the fic he'll pass it on to bones, not sure if I should have the necromancer do it or if Bones should do it, you know, physician in all. leave your thoughts in a review, and hopefully if I get any tips of how this should go, it will continue.
