Chapter One
Monoke walked near a river.She looked up at the house near where she was.This was her first time being out of the forest.She walked around the unfamiliar grounds.She held her stomach and fell to her knees.Her face was sweaty.She moaned softly,the pain was increasing.A branch snapped in the clearing in front of her.Monoke stopped moaning and listened.Voices could be heard coming from the clearing. Sounds of battle could be heard.Getting up,Monoke grabbed her bow and arrows and walked toward the sounds.Getting to the clearing,she saw a man standing in the doorway of the house and another near a car shaking his fist at the man in the doorway.Monoke watched as both men took sticks out of there pockets and shoot beams of light at each other.The man in the doorway fell unconsience while the other one stood smirking near the car.A woman walked out and yelled at the smirking man''Get out of here NOW!!'' Monoke watched as the man did the same thing to the woman as he did the man.She fell unconsience to.Some kids ran out of the house yelling at the man.Monoke had had enough.This man had disrespected a lady and would have to pay.She stepped out of the bushes,her bow and arrow ready.No one noticed her until she said''You have disrespected a lady's word and didn't heed her warning and know you must pay!''and shot the arrow.It hit the man in the arm.He cried out with surprise,not expecting to be hit with a arrow.He yelled''You will regret that you ever met Lucius Malfoy,girl.Crucio''and a light shot out of the stick,hitting her in the chest.Monoke tried not to cry out in pain,but did.The pain had increased the pain she already had.He stopped the curse and apparated away.Monoke fell to her knees again,her eyes open all the way.Her head was down,and she held her stomach.One of the children started towards her but was stopped by a girl with brown hair.The girl said''No way Harry are you going over there! She could be dangerous!She could...''She was cut off when the boy said''If she were dangerous wouldn't she have let Malfoy get us Hermione?''The girl stayed quiet. Monoke listened to them,as she got up.She was weak,and could hardly walk. Monoke looked at how many people were outside.Six children and four adults counting the two that were unconsience.
