Reflections: Cait Sith
- It's become a joke, hasn't it?
- I tell a fortune,
- and everyone has a good laugh.
- Well, chew on this, my giggling friends:
- I've seen things that would blow your minds.
- I was on the inside of Shinra, and saw nearly all of their plans.
When I was known only as Reeve, - before the creation of Cait Sith,
- I tried to stop it.
Hojo. - Sephiroth.
- Even Vincent and Cloud.
- I was witness to the experiments which rocked their lives forever.
- And, I was forbidden to take even a step against it.
Then, I was given the order which changed my life more than I can say. - Pilot a stuffed toy;
- And become a double agent.
- I followed through on that part, didn't I?
It would have been so easy to just give them all over to Rufus. - I probably would have gotten a promotion for it.
- But I couldn't.
They affected me so deeply; - more than I'll ever let them know.
- They may know my true identity,
- but to them, I'm still little stuffed Cait Sith.
- I think about these things,
- and how my life would have been different,
- had I turned down that assignment.
- Would this have all turned out the same?
- Or would I still be stuck with Scarlet and Palmer,
- Doomed to run a hopeless company?
- Five to ten you can't guess.
