Ah, the sweet sound of the bell, releasing all of the students from their classrooms, allowing them to run free in the schoolyard.
A certain redhead always went to a ceratin spot, secluded from the crazy people who went to his school. It wasn't all that far away, but no one else knew about it.
It was a giant fountain, beautiful flowers surrounding it, in all the colors of the rainbow and more. It was quite a gorgeous sight, and luckily for Silver,
almost no one else knew about it.
He sat on the stone bench that surrounded it, face completely straight, thinking.
He usually would be able to think for hours on end, but today was different.
He heard someone coming, because of the rustling of the grass. There was only one, and he knew because there was no talking. Silver stayed completely silent, not a single noise escaping him.
The redhead was suprised when it was Sapphire, a girl who was in ALL of the same classes as him. Knowing who she was since second grade, the boy had eventually gained a crush on the brunette.
"Silver! There you are! I wanted to ask you something!" she said, walking even closer. His face stayed completely straight.
"You're so emotionless! You never smile, laugh, or even talk! What's wrong with you?" Sapphire asked, face extremely close to his, staring him straight in the eye. He simply shrugged.
"C'mon, there HAS to be a reason." she said, hand on her hip. Silver shook his head, when her lips came crashing onto his, taking him by complete surprise, his face turning as red his hair. When she pulled back, she laughed because of the look on his face - a weird mix of suprise and enjoyment.
"Oh, so NOW you have an expression?" she joked, as he shook his head, clearing his brain.
"I only have one question." he said. Sapphire was slightly suprised, having not heard him talk since third grade when Gold was teasing him about looking like a girl.
"What?"
"Why did you have to stop?"
