"No Ed! I already lost you once! I don't want that to happen again!"

Al could see that wasn't going to stop his brother Edward. A thought dawned on him.

"Think about Winry! She misses you too you know!"

Al prayed that would work. His prayers were answered. At the last second Ed jumped down to Roy Mustang who released his grip on Alphonse. Al couldn't help but feel slightly hurt at the fact that it was Winry who kept Ed home. But hey whatever works.

"Al, listen. I was going…the other side…whats going to happen to it?"

Roy mustang chimed in then.

"Uhhh, had you used your brain, you would have realized that if we destroy the portal from this side, the one in the parallel world would be unusable."

Ed's eyes went all buggy as he considered the terrible mistake he had almost made. From a distance, Ed could see Winry waving crazily up at him. Today was the day. No fear. Once they reached the ground, Ed began to make his way home, but then balled up his fists and slowly turned around.

"Winry? Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh……………………could I see you for a second?"

Ed couldn't belive what he was about to do. But he was going to go through with it this time.

Once Winry had made her way from the reunion, she said rather shyly,

"Yeah? What is it?"

Blatantly scared, Ed said

"Listen Winry?"

Breathing deeply he continued on,

"When I was up there…about to leave for the other world, thinking I wasn't going to hear your voice again is what kept me here. Not being able to see you. Hear you. Smell you. Love you. That's what kept me back."

Turning to walk away, fearing he had just made an utter fool of himself, he stopped when Winry grabbed his hand.

"Get over here you big jerk."

Ed 's eyes closed as he met Winry's lips.

This is my first FMA fanfic, and I made it in honor of the dumbest ending in a movie I have ever see referring to Conqueror of Shambala I'm sorry, but it needed this badly. BADLY. Be angry with me if you want, but I know for a FACT I am not alone in this matter. And watch out. Pretty soon, a Roy romance will be up with a special you know who.
