InuYasha stopped, not believing what he had just seen. He turned back and there was Kagome, covered in blood.
"InuYasha..." she said, trying her best to stand up.
"Don't Kagome, stay here, who did this to you? How badly are you hurt?"
"I'm okay InuYasha, don't worry about me."
"BUT WHO DID THIS!?" InuYasha yelled.
"Shesshamaru..." Kagome said, holding back tears. "Shesshamaru , he asked where you were, and I wouldn't tell him."
"WHY DIDN'T YOU JUST TELL HIM!?" InuYasha yelled, now looking more fierce than before.
"I... I couldn't, you know that." Kagome said, tears now gushing from her eyes.
-InuYasha wraps his arms gently around Kagome, holding her closely to him.-
