The sky was sad today. Grey clouds covered the sad sky's face, dropping droplets of water like tears, upon a man with light brown locks of hair. The rain came down heavy and quickly, soaking the man's loose fitting t-shirt and jean pants to to his body. His face remained downcast, staring down at headstone before him. He kept blinking over and over, as if to see if by doing this he could change the name of the person on the headstone to someone else who wasn't his best friend.

He wished it hadn't happened this way. That he'd seen it coming. That he could've saved him. The man could hear the foot steps of another person running thru the downpour towards him. However he paid no heed to the voice calling thru the rain.

"Shou!" He heard the voice call. Again he ignored it. "Shou! Dammit get out of the rain you'll get sick!" Again, he ignored the pleading. His eyes remained forever fixed up the name that was engraved in the stone.

Amano "Tora" Shinji

He felt a hand come down hard upon his shoulder, spinning him around, forcing him to break eye contact with the headstone.

"SHOU!" the brown haired older came face to face with a smaller man who's brunette locks of hair were stuck to the lines of his face as he he managed an angry pout.

"Pon..." the older whispered, tears now running down his already wet face.

"Shou, come back to the car please okay...you'll get sick if you stay out here like this." the younger pleaded. Shou shook his head. He felt responsible for his friends death. He thought that by staring at the name he could bring him back. Or perhaps it was all a dream. Maybe Tora was still alive. He heard the younger speak again.

"Shou...you can't bring Tora back. And standing out here in this weather will only make you really sick. Please come back to the car so we can go back home...please Shou." The older allowed himself to be pulled away from his friends headstone and back to the safety and warmth of the car.

All this was after all, his fault.

All his fault...

Shou buckled his seatbelt as he saw his companion start the car. Slowly he closed his eyes, attempting to will himself to forget.
