Pleasure Leaving You By LoveDiasaster
Two muscular hands grasped one's neck in anger. "Stop! Stop! You're choking me!" She struggled to say. "No Clara. You ripped my heart out. So it's my turn for revenge!" He screamed through gritted teeth. "Ari." Clara whispered. Her breath slowly faded away. "I love-"her last words echoed into Ari's head. Who did she love? He wondered. "I don't care. You don't love me." He said angrily. "You just think that." Ari said, forcing his hands to finalize Clara's death. "NO!" Jack yelled, in shock of his girlfriend dying in front of him.
"That's a rap! Great twist!" Ms. Dawes yelled. "Eli, that was epic. Tomorrow's going to be great." She continued. "Thanks, but I just don't think Jack should live at the end." Eli joked. A nearby Jake turned to Clare. "You see? He is trying to get me." Jake worried. "Jake, he just fixed our relationship, he's doing the same performance he did here, just at a more populated place, he's getting better." Clare tried reasoning.
"No, he's not; he just said that I shouldn't live. Does that sound reassuring to you? Because to me, that sounds pretty darn freaky." Jake yelled, catching everyone's attention. Clare looked away from Jake, crossing her arms. "You know what? You're bringing up some part of a certain someone that I just dumped." Clare sternly said. "Oh, so you're taking his side?" Jake asked, now concerned. She's slipping away from me, he thought. "No Jake, I'm not taking anyone's side. I'm just saying that he deserves some credit. You on the other hand, need to get yourself together." Clare sighed, throwing her hands in the air. "I got to go, Alli's waiting for me." Clare said, walking away from Jake.
"Boyfriend's got you down?" Alli asked an angry Clare. "No, boyfriend's bringing an ugly side out." Clare said, throwing he bag on the opposite shoulder. "Uh, I asked a question that was called for an answer not a change in subject, I'm confused." Alli replied, not following Clare exactly. "Jake is getting a feeling that Eli's trying to get after him, but he's freaking out just like Eli used to." Clare looked across the street to the bench that had sentimental value to her and Eli.
"Maybe it's not too late to go back." She whispered. "What was that? One little mishap and you're changing your mind about Jake?" Alli asked, surprised at her best friend. "You can't be serious." Alli continued. "It was just a thought." Clare retorted. "Then it should stay in your head. Jake is a good guy. If I weren't going out with Dave, I would have gone after him." Clare stared at Alli. "If you weren't together, of course." Alli reassured her hurting friend.
"Alli, what if all my future boyfriends act like this? I mean, I just can't take this." Alli looked at her friend. "Which part are you angry about, his sexy body, or his winning smile?" She joked. "Alli, it's his worrying. It's really stressing me. I mean, Eli just saved our relationship, without jeopardizing it. That's a huge step for Eli, but Jake doubts it." Clare sighed. "Well, what's going to happen?" Alli asked, looking at the bench. "I don't know, do you think you can help me? I'll talk with Eli and you talk to Jake." Clare suggested.
"Why don't we do it the other way around? It's easier?" Alli asked. "Because, this way, he doesn't h=think I'm pestering him." Clare said, crossing the street alongside her best friend. "Yeah, but you talking to Eli isn't the best idea." She replied, trying to convince her best friend that all this wasn't the way to go. "Well, thanks a lot. I'll just get Fiona to help me. At least she'll listen to me." She retorted.
Clare walked away, with pride in her stride and crazy in her eyes. "Clare." Alli whined to herself. Do I have a curse put over me and my friends? She thought to herself.
