I just felt like continuing the Twilight Princess storyline. I started writing, and I have an idea of how it'll go. This is NOT a Zelda/Link pairing. That would be gross! (you'll see why later)
Sure, I own a copy of Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, but unfortunately, I do not own any rights to it!
Note: This happens RIGHT after Midna breaks the mirror, and goes back into the Twilight Realm... If you didn't see what happened at the end of the TP credits, look it up on youtube or beat the game!

Chapter 1: Right After the End
"Thank you for your services to Hyrule, Warrior Link." Princess Zelda said, "You have saved the kingdom of Hyrule from a domination of the twilight, and from the evil Ganondorf. And also saved Midna and her kingdom."
"Why did she have to break the mirror?" Link asked, mostly to himself.
"Darkness and light cannot intertwine. If she had not shattered the portal, they surely would have mixed." Zelda explained.
"So that's it? I'll never see her again?" Link still questioned.
"True love has a way of overcoming the most treacherous of situations. That is- if it was true love." She reassured him.
Link sighed and shook his head. "I don't know." He whispered. He started to walk away from where the mirror was. I looked at his arm and found a shard of the mirror stuck in it.
"I could remove that for you." Zelda offered.
"No. It's alright. It's one thing I have left to remember her by…" He ran his finger over the splintered shard.
"Do you not also have the shadow crystal?" She asked.
"I almost forgot about that." He said as he took out the shadow crystal and looked at it. "But without Midna's power, I cannot transform with it."
"I'm sorry for what you've lost, Warrior Link. I'm sorry for what you have gone through to restore the kingdom. You must be honored for your bravery, and strength. We will have a ceremony to celebrate your achievements." Zelda said diplomatically.
"You don't need to do that." Link shook his head.
"The kingdom needs a hero to adore. I believe you are the hero we've waited years for." Zelda smiled. "We haven't had one since… Since my father. Come to think of it, his name was Link." She said thoughtfully.
"I was probably named after him." He theorized.
"Who were your parents?" She questioned.
"I don't know. I've lived in Ordon since before I can remember. I was an orphan." Link told her.
"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that." Zelda frowned.
"No, It's okay." He smiled weakly.
"Might you escort me to the castle? If my guards found out I went alone, they would overreact." She requested.
"Sure. We can ride Epona." He nodded, and called his faithful horse.
They went back to the castle of Hyrule. The guards were ready and waiting for Princess Zelda. As she walked up, they bowed.
"Princess, are you okay?" One of the guards asked.
"Yes, I'm fine. I just want to get back into the castle, and take care of my kingdom once again." She smiled.
"Very well, Princess. We have done our best to restore order to the town for your return."
"For that I am grateful." She bowed slightly to him.
"It is my duty, Fair Princess Zelda." He straightened his posture.
"Link, I would like to show you something." Zelda beckoned Link into the castle.
Uh-oh! A cliffy! Deal with it... Anyway, sorry the chapter was so short, but I needed to stop here to make an even chapter break. Maybe another chapter will be posted in a couple days, maybe not. I'm in the process of moving right now, so the computer is getting taken down today and wont be back up until late tomorrow.
Chapter 2: Like Looking in a Mirror
