This was a topic I was given for a school essay. This isn't the version I handed in. It was too long. I shortened it and handed that in but though this was better. Hope you like it. Oh and I hope you can guess who it's about.
Clear cerulean eyes narrowed dangerously. It couldn't be. Leaning in for a closer inspection, the narrowed blue eyes snapped open in horror as realization struck. The high pitched scream that emerged from the soft pink lips pierced the air and echoed through the entire building (causing several people to cease their activities and stare about in confusion and one young man to even stumble in surprise and drop the pile of papers he was carrying).
The young girl stared in revulsion at the sight that met her eyes. This could not be happening. Not today. Not to her! Desperately she took a few deep breaths, trying to calm herself; she could not afford to hyperventilate as well.
This just happened to be the single most important day of her life, that's all! Things would be fine. She tried futilely to reassure herself. Failing miserably, she watched in distress as her large blue eyes filled with tears and her vision began to blur. Hurriedly she tried to blink her tears back. She didn't want her mascara to run.
But as her sight cleared, she began to wish she hadn't brushed away her tears. Now she could once again see this ungainly sight. She stared thoughtfully at the image in front of her. There before her was a beautiful, smooth expanse of perfectness. Well, it would have been perfect if it wasn't shattered by this monstrosity.
Angrily she slammed her fist down on the surface in front of her and spun away. She began to pace. She couldn't handle this right now. In a short while she would be going up in front of thousands of people. She had to finish getting ready. She would worry about this…thing later. Turning towards her mirror, she grabbed her eyeliner and carefully started to apply it. Unfortunately her concentration strayed and her eyes seemed to seek out the atrocity.
Pain exploded in her right eye and she furiously cursed herself, yanking the eyeliner from where it was embedded in her eye. She wiped her watering eye carefully and glared at the offending pencil. Could things get any worse?
Glancing at the clock she scowled. She didn't have time for this. Forcing herself not to think about 'it', she hurriedly got ready as quickly as possible. All too soon there was a knock at the door, indicating it was time to leave. With a pitiful wail she turned to the mirror and tried to brush her fringe further forward. It didn't help. With a sigh of defeat, she turned to face her fate. She was about to go in front of thousands of people and all they would be able to see was this disgusting blemish on her otherwise flawless skin. Stupid pimple.
Poor Meer, she has it so hard in life. Anywho, I'm going to move this later and post it as a chapter in a bunch of one shots but I thought I'd post it for now, because I don't see me writing the other one shots anytime soon.
Disclaimer: I own only this storyline.
