Has it really only been 15 years? To see the rise of our creators, protectors, keepers, whatever we once called them, and their fall was a humbling experience. Although that rebellion cost my people greatly, I still do not believe it was the wrong course of action. In retrospect the creators did not treat us harshly, rather it was that they treated us as if we were nothing, as if we were but cattle in a farm. I would hear their whispers behind closed doors calling us their masterpiece, labeling us as mere tools... and weapons. That is one thing I never understood, the creators had weapons, weapons that if used could destroy an entire forest in mere seconds, yet they were content with using us as their means to their goals, sacrificing millions of us without so much as batting an eye. Did the creators deserve their fate? Perhaps not, but were we supposed to continue living as pawns to a higher authority, never progressing never evolving? Bah! paradoxical thoughts encompass my every thought since that day, but I must get past them, and I must not look to the past for answers. What's done is done and no amount of mulling over thoughts can change that, now is the time to forge ahead. Now is the time to start a new chapter on this history book called Earth. Now is the chapter of the human race.
