A/N: Hey Ya'll! I know that we've all been starving for some new fics from the show, especially Katrick so I when I got this idea, I immediately had to write this. Basically, as the summary says, its an overview of Kat and Patrick's relationship from beginning to end. If ya'll like this starter, please let me know and I'll work on getting the next piece up. Katarina Stratford came to Padua High (and met Patrick Verona) a month ago. It wasn't pretty.
"Watch where you're going, jerk!" she said angrily as he parked his motorcycle/death machine right next to her car, nearly scratching the side door.
He smirked at her, "Couldn't help it. I was distracted by the hot new girl in the car next to me." The blondie on the back of his bike didn't even seem to care that he was so openly talking about another girl.
Kat glared at him, her feminist side coming out at his comment. "How dare you talk about me like that! I am not a possession to be used and I am not easy! You can't just come here and almost scratch my car and then call me hot using a lame line and then expect me to be ok with it!"
His face was a mixture of faux astonishment at her remarks and obvious pleasure and amusement at getting her so riled up. "Oh! I'm sorry miss. I wasn't talking about you. I was referring to the hot new girl in the car on the left of me. You are quite clearly on my right."
The blonde decided to speak up at that one, "Duh!" She said it like it was the most obvious thing in the world, although, looking back on it, Kat is positive she has no idea what is going on at that moment between Kat and Patrick.
Kat got out of the car, then slammed her door and glared at Patrick. She then locked her car, "accidentally" knocked into Blondie, who promptly fell off the bike, and stomped into the school, mad that he managed to make a fool of her. What's worse is that she's pretty sure he enjoyed it too. The jerk.
She could already tell that it was going to be a long day.
Experts say that first impressions tell you a lot about a person and shape your view of them. Kat decided she already hates Padua High, and as for Patrick Verona, Bianca learned early on that you don't mention him to Kat unless you have an unspeakable need to loose one or both of your arms.
Patrick Verona found Katarina Stratford undeniably interesting (and attractive), but mostly, he hated her.
