Alright, so as you know I am a big fan of Ricky/Amy so here's just a one-shot to further prove it. Sorry if the characters seem out of character, but that's what you have to do to get Amy and Ricky together.

Ricky's POV
I knocked on the Juergens' door and waited for someone to come and open it. I was coming over to see John and Amy...I mean John, just John.
"It's open!" A muffled voice yelled from inside. I turned the knob and stepped inside.
"Hello?" I called out, kicking aside a few of John's toys.
"In here," Someone called from the living room. I walked in to find Ashley sitting on the floor with John watching a dvd of some baby show.
"Where's Amy?" I asked.
"Oh, something happened at school today and she's been up in her room all afternoon." Ashley replied.
"Do you know what happened?" I asked.
"Something with Ben, but she wouldn't tell me what." Ashley answered.
"Oh well, I'm just going to go say hi." I said. Ashley nodded, so I headed to Amy's room.
"Amy, it's me Ricky. Can I come in?" I asked knocking on the door. I heard a muffled repsonse but I couldn't tell if it was a yes or a no. "Okay if it's a yes stay silent, if it's no make a sound." I replied. I listened and didn't hear anything so I opened the door.
"Oh my gosh, Amy what happened?" I asked. Her room was a complete and total mess. There were ripped up pictures all over the floor and Amy was under what seemed to be fifty blankets on her bed.
She sobbed into the pillow. "Ben...cheated...me....broke up...jerk!" I managed to catch.
"Come again?"I said.
She lifted her head off the pillow and I saw that her face was wet from crying. "Ben cheated on me with a girl over the summer and now we broke up because he's a jerk." Amy said punching her bed in frustration.
"I'm sorry Amy. But you deserve someone better than him." I said sitting down at the foot of her bed.
She looked at me from underneath the blankets. "Like who?"
"I don't now someone who wouldn't cheat on you." I said.
"Yeah, every guy I date would cheat on me." Amy said with a sob.
I paused. "I wouldn't," I replied.
Amy sat up and looked at me. "Yeah, I really believe that." She said sarcastically laying back down
I moved closer, "I wouldn't," I whispered.
"Get away, you're just doing what you did at band camp. But this time I'm not falling for it," Amy replied.
"Amy?" She looked up. "Look me in the eyes and tell me you don't love me. If you do that, I'll go back downstairs and play with John until I leave." I said.
"You promise?" Amy asked. I nodded yes. She looked down and said, "I don't love you."
"Amy you didn't look me in the eyes." I reprimanded.
"I can't." She stated.
"Why not?" I challenged.
"Because if I do, I'll say I love you." Amy blurted out. She sat up really quickly and looked at me. "I didn't say that."
"But you did."
"No."
"Yup and guess what I love you too." I said with a smile.
"Liar," She spat.
"I do, but if you don't want to date me because you don't trust me, that's fine. I'll just leave you with this." I said. I leaned foward and gave her a kiss. Amy didn't say anything so I got up to leave.
I was reaching for the door knob when Amy called out, "No!"
I turned around, "No?" I repeated.
"I want to date you, but I just can't trust you." Amy said.
"Amy you are the only girl I have ever really loved, I don't want to lose you. I'm not going to cheat on you." I said.
"Really?" She asked getting up from her bed.
"Really." I answered.
She smiled and walked over to me, "Then we can date, but if you cheat on me..." She started but I cut her off with a kiss.
After we pulled away I looked at her, "I won't, I promise."
