I am looking for a story but I can't remember the title or author. Here's what I can remember about the story.
I only remember that after Bella and Edward made love, Rosalie spied on them to be sure. When confronted, in front of the whole Cullen family and Bella, Rosalie revealed that Edward was supposed to be for her. She doesn't really want him but she was fine with him being lonely because it validated the fact that he didn't want her, since he didn't want anyone.
She was bitter after he found Bella. She revealed that over the decades she had been mentally abusing him because he didn't want her. Esme and Carlisle were upset with themselves for not realizing that Rosalie had been mentally making things harder for Edward all those years.
Emmett left for a while after her confession and Bella wondered if leaving was the way the men in the Cullen family dealt with their problems. I believe this story took place after New Moon.
