Rogue's Dream

When I'm awake, I am fine,
But at night, when I sleep,
The nightmares I face,
Or the memory's I meet.

They are not mine,
Although I am there,
inside someone's body,
The feelings are shared.

Sometimes there's blood,
Sometimes there's pain,
Self mutilation,
Human's to blame.

I wake in a sweat,
Lonely and scared,
Replaying my dream,
I'm never prepared.

The memory's come,
Then finally they go,
Their nightmarish past,
Rapped in a bow.

Sometimes I pity,
Sometimes I hate,
Sometimes I'm jealous,
Of those who are great.

I'm scared of sleeping,
Scared of the dreams,
Scared of their pain,
Scared of their screams.
