No Time

Sorry for this story being short but it wouldn't leave my head. This is my first final fantasy7 fanfic I hope you all enjoy it.

Sadness is all that is left not a glimpse of hope was in sight. She watched him laid Aeris to rest at the bottom of the lake of the of the city of the ancients. As the group walked away cloud remained there he looked so lost. Everyone else returned to the highwind in silence, no one dared say a word. Tifa walked out on to the deck and looked up to the sky, she let her tears fall freely down her face. At first she was jealous of the flower girl how could some one like her steal his heart but as time went one she could see why. The tears wouldn't stop falling as she remembered the short time they spent together. The laughs they shared the tears they cried, time with her was odd but it was quite enjoyable.

Tifa felt the engines rumble as the ship slowly became airborne Cloud must of returned. The air ship slowly left the area with everyone on board remain silent. Tifa watched until the city of the ancients was no longer in sight. The raven haired fighter quickly wiped away her tears and took a deep breath. As she joined the others in the control room she could feel the eyes upon her but she avoided all of them and sat down. She looked out the main window as the highwind sailed though the endless sky.

She felt some one sit beside her and put their hand on her shoulder. She turned and looked into a pair of his crimson eyes she could see a hint of worry behind them. Vincent was just like her the both of them to afraid to show there true feelings. She gave him a light smile and as she reached up and gave his hand a gently squeeze. they both looked at the main window. They were heading north she could tell from the snow on the mountain tops. Another battle was about to begin and she would be ready as would everyone else.

Time waits for no one it must move on. There is a mission that needs to be finished and there was no time to morn now she had to be strong and let nothing weaken her.

"When all this is over I will go back...I will morn for you but for now time has moved forward and the fight is at hand.

I will miss you Aeris...the flower girl I barely knew.
