Repentance

My heart tore form my chest,
All that was left was a mess.
Not long before,
There we were.
Talking, laughing, enjoying the moment.
Another one from my past was sent
by the unrelenting demons of my past.
I was defeated at long last,
not by strength nor brawn,
on me repentance will dawn.
He stole you from life,
all because of his strife.
So their you lie,
he left you to die.
