Eric's point of view

It had been an odd, yet amazing day. I went to take the new girl on a tour of my kingdom, I can say it wasn't what I was expecting at all and neither was she, but in a good way. Just seeing her face light up at everything she saw around her, I can't lie, it was quite adorable. Her expression of excitement on her face made me excited to. She was just so curious about everything and I was willing to do that for her. For someone who can't talk, her expressions tell me a lot.

When i found her; Well technically Max found her, I was so captivated by the sheer beauty of her. When I looked closer to her face, I could have sworn I've seen her before. It reminded me ever so much of the face of the beautiful girl who rescued me. They look so similar, it couldn't be a coincidence. I just knew it was her! I asked for her name, but when she opened her mouth nothing came out. And I realized she couldn't talk. She wasn't who I thought she was. And then she tried making these hand signals. I tried to understand what she was trying to saying, then she slipped, but I caught her in time. She looked like she's really been through something. She needed help and I wasn't going to leave her to fend for herself. Anyone could take advantage of her, especially since she can't talk. I took a home and here is where I am now.

I decided to take me and my friend on a little rowboat around the lake, something relaxing after the long day. It was really nice. Somehow there was music playing, I didn't know it was coming. For a short moment, I just stared at Ariel. Oh, I forgot to mention I found out her name is Ariel. It's such a pretty name. We just stared at each other, I had this feeling. The same feeling I had when I was rescued by my mystery girl. I thought I would never have that feeling again. Something about the moments just seemed... Magical. There was something about her. She had this look in her eyes. Our faces were coming close together. I didn't know what I was doing, but it felt right. We're just about to kiss when suddenly SPLASH! I don't know how, but our boat tipped over. I was soaking wet and was trying to process what just happened. I turned my head and saw Ariel having a little trouble getting up. Being a gentleman I was, I helped her up. I just don't know what caused are both to tip over, but at the moment I was more focused on Ariel.

Third person point of view

"Hang on. Hang on. I got you." Eric told Ariel. Their rowboat I just been tipped over by two eels, Ursula's slimy minions. But that's not important right now. Eric was helping Ariel to get back on her feet again. "Are you ok?" he asked. Ariel nods. Again they stare at each other. That same feeling rises up in Eric's chest again. He was falling in love. "Ariel" she turns to him. "I know we only spent a short amount of time together, but I feel like I said I know you. You're so wide eyed to everything. You say so much even though you can't talk." She looked at him, her eyes filled with longing. Eric takes a breath and confesses, "You know, I've been looking everywhere for the mysterious girl who saved my life, but now I see that it's you that I love. and i..." he doesn't even get to finish the sentence. Right then and there, they kissed. A true passionate kiss.

A few days later, they were married and they lived happily ever after.
