What is going on my fellow Digi-. Wait. What do you mean this isn't digimon? Are you sure I got the wrong franchise? DAMN IT.

Here's a random idea I had for a fanfic when I was out playing Pokemon Go during community day. This is a SYOC story so I hope you guys can provide some awesome characters. Anyways, let's get right to it.

I took a deep breath as I looked at the ocean from the front of the boat. I was off to some academy on a remote island where only the top trainers with incredible talents get to go. The academy only accepts very little students yearly, that's probably why it has a 98% record of graduates becoming top tier champions,coordinators or professors. By no means am I a top tier battler, researcher or even a coordinator. I'm just a 17 year old who was just about ready to start my senior year of high school. But I guess now i'm not aloud to do that.

I am being forced to this school by some unknown group that threatened me and my family. My first encounter with them was when I came home from the last day of school before summer vacation. There was a strange back envelope with a red ribbon over it. I opened it to reveal a plane ticket to the alola region and a letter that read:

Dear Ben

I'm going to cut right to the chase and I won't ramble on. You are to go to Alola over the summer and track down a guy named Leader. He has what you seek. You probably have no idea what i'm on about and that's good. Oh. Forgot to mention, you have been checked out of your current high school and are attending another school in the upcoming academic months. You will get more details on that from Leader. If you don't follow any of this, your family may or may not get hurt. We'll shall see.

Something about how this was worded made me shiver in fear. I had no choice but to follow this letters instructions. So, I spend the entire summer going all over the alola region. Exploring the region, asking around to see if anyone knew who "Leader" was. No one really knew who they were. I spend a bit of time capturing some other pokemon that I had found. Just as I was about to jump onto the plane, a mysterious figure wearing all black handed me a package. It was a box. Inside the box was a mysterious looking pokeball that was all blue with 4 weird orange curves over it. The figure told me it was a "beast ball" and that it was highly dangerous. I just stuffed it away in my backpack and hopped on the plane. That guy was "Leader." I tried to research what a Beast Ball was online, only to be hit with a bunch of conspiracy theories on these things called Ultra Beasts. Apparently the aether foundation had developed them to catch these Ultra Beasts that fell out of wormholes. I didn't find much information sadly.

I looked up as the school came into sight. But only one thing was for sure. Something extremely weird is going on...
