Olivia had been on a case, she had accused the child of angry, causing her to hang up. The child had told Olivia, that her 'father' had abused her, and she had been locked into a room.
She sat at her desk, her head in her hands, and tears sliding down her cheeks.
Elliot walked in, and wrapped his arms around her, "You ok Livv?"
She shook her head, "I failed her", she threw herself into his strong arms, sobbing.
Elliot held her close to him, "No you didn't Livv, you did everything you could"
"No, I didn't, she called for help, and I accused her of lying", her tears streamed down her face, as his shirt became wet with her salty tears
He held her, "You are the best detective there is Livv, you should never doubt your self, I believe in you"
She looked up at him with mascara stained cheeks, "Why? Why do you believe in me?"
He looked down, and then back up, and cupped her cheek, "Because I love you"
She smiled through her tears, "I love you too"
He wrapped his arms back around her, and kissed her softly, "You didnt fail her, you did your best, trust me?"
She nodded, and held onto him, "Of course I trust you"
