This is my first ever TV Prompt EVER! Hopefully, this will be good, doubt it though. Criminal Minds is owned by CBS (If I owned it though… Spencer and Maeve would have got together, Seaver would still be here instead of JJ, and Gideon would have been killed by Frank, not "Missing").
This is for the March Prompts, and I am combining an accident with Spencer being dragged on a girls night out. Dialogue based, so sorry if you don't like it. Anyways, this was originally going to have a sense of humour to it, but could not find a death on the Darwin awards that would suit this story.
Anyways, apolgies for the rubbish title, and how bad this will probably be. Anyways- hope you enjoy!
Total length- 255 words.
"911, what's your emergency?" The call operator yawned, looking up at the clock. 11pm.
"Hello, my….friend." Spencer Reid cried down the phone.
"What happened to your friend?" The call operator replied.
"She...died." Spencer sobbed down the phone.
"Oh my god, what happened? Are you alright?" The call operator gasped, "Where are you?"
"I'm at… the Lucky Restaurant, in Quantico, Virginia." Spencer muttered, "I went… on a girl's night out."
"Why were you on a girl's night out?" The Call operator queried, wondering why a guy was dragged on a girl's nights out.
"Because… my other friend told them… to find me a date." Spencer replied, "Anyways…. My three friends got drunk, and my friend JJ…. Was the most drunk."
"What happened next?" The Call Operator asked politely, meanwhile tapping on her computer so that an ambulance could be sent to the Lucky Restaurant.
"JJ…. She got onto the stage… did Karaoke. After… she finished… her song, she jumped…off the stage. Unluckily…. The Band…. Neck…hit…stand…. Broken. Neck… died… Instantly." Spencer finally broke down; a multitude of sobs could be heard down the phone.
"Ok, we have sent the ambulance along? Does JJ have any next of kin?" The Call operator asked, noticing the tragic irony of someone dying in a place with Luck in its name.
"We've already…" Garcia muttered, "They...needed to know… first."
"Ok, thank you very much." The Call operator replied, and the call ended. Another life gone. Poor JJ, hopefully her friends and families could cope with her death, and recover from it.
