A/N: Written for the 100 Prompts challenge, #032 - timing.
don't notice a little longer
/1/
He didn't know how he was still hidden,
not yet exposed -
but that's good. He can hide a little longer
and hide the string that tied her,
the unwitting accomplice
he'd made her out to eb
But he'd underestimated him:
he could see, that if her reasoning
would not reach him, is would fail
as well. If only
things could hold a little longer
before that failing became something more
But he is suddenly exposed, and the situation
explodes in a haze of anger, of hopelessness,
of murderous intent
And hadn't it all been for her?
This tale had so twisted, somehow
and if only he could have stayed hidden a little longer
then maybe he could have picked
a different end.
