Eowyn's Poem
I watch you ride away
No tears come
No fears come
Just numbness,
numbness inside.
The scene replays inside my head
I remember the pain,
the gasping, choking pain,
As you ripped out my heart
and tore it in two
Then casting it over your shoulder,
you ride away,
you don't look back.
You don't care,
not one bit.
The numbness returns
Just cold, dead numbness.
my heart
my life, stolen from me
I know what I must do.
