Walking home one night, I take a little detour to a new cat cafe that opened up recently. My coworkers told me about it because I keep sighing at work. It's not like I can tell them I've been missing my boyfriend because he's being kept busy by all the human wishes around the holiday.

Walking in the door, I feel a little nervous because I'm not really sure what to expect. I see the cats wandering around the space, and they seem pretty happy rubbing up against the customers. I get a tea and cake and sit down at a low table to watch them.

I see one approaching me out of the corner of my eye. It's a beautiful orange tabby with amber eyes. His fur and eyes remind me of Leon, and I smile as he approaches. I scratch behind his ears and his purrs rumble through my fingertips.

He crawls into my lap and I pet his entire length, thinking about how much he reminds me of Leon, with his soft fur and warmth. It really is taking my mind off my loneliness as I recall sweet and passionate memories.

Lost in my reverie, I suddenly hear a whisper in my ear. "If you missed me that badly, you should have said something, Supii."

I look up from the cat in my lap to see Leon's face. "Leon!" I think that I must be dreaming and raise a hand to his cheek.

As I caress his face, he turns his head and kisses the inside of my wrist. "Did you think that I could resist your wish? And I, um, got a little jealous."

"Of a tabby cat?"

"Well, when I heard your wish to keep him, I didn't know he was a cat. And now that I'm here, he's getting to enjoy your lap instead of me." The tabby cat lazily opens an eye and defiantly stretches as if to reclaim my attention from Leon.

"Oh, Leon, you know I love you more than anything."

"Supii, do you think that I could take you home with me tonight? I still have to work, but I'd love to feel your hands in my hair while I rest in your lap."

"Of course, I love touching your hair."

As I slide my fingers through his long locks, he sighs deeply. "I think that I may need to take a quick break with you first."

He snaps his fingers, and we're in his room instantly.

"Leon! In public, and I didn't pay."

"Don't worry, I took care of everything."

Suddenly I hear a little meow at my feet.

"Leon!"

"We also adopted him. I don't want you to ever feel lonely again."

"Oh, thank you, Leon, I love you so much."

As the little tabby cat explores Leon's room, we explore each other's bodies, reveling in each other's touch.
